Victory Programs' Founder & President Emeritus, Jonathan Scott, retired after 43 years of serving some of the most vulnerable members of the Greater Boston community. During his four decades with Victory Programs, Jonathan oversaw the launch of dozens of innovative programs to address the needs of people in recovery from substance use disorder, people living with HIV/AIDS, and individuals and families facing homelessness. On May 30, hundreds of agency friends, personal friends of Jonathan, current and former staff, and agency alumni gathered to celebrate Jonathan's many successes and wish him well as he starts the next chapter of his life. At October's Kids in the Garden program, kids visiting Westover Library saved seeds for next Spring and planted pansies and wheat. Next program will be November 12th from 4:30-5:30. Program is for children in Kindergarten-5th grade. Call the library at 703-228-0522 to register.

Cultural Program that closed the first day of the 3rd Global Conference on Emerging Trends for Business Librarianship at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India - November 21, 2017). Foi lançado nesta terça-feira (10), Dia Estadual do Protetor de Animais, pelo prefeito Lorenzo Pazolini, o “Vitória da Castração Animal” compreende: cadastro de tutores; registro e microchipagem dos animais; credenciamento de clínicas veterinárias para esterilização cirúrgica, com realização de exames laboratoriais, fornecimento de materiais e medicamentos em todas as etapas do processo operatório e pós-operatório, minimizando os riscos de óbito.
