Brighter Bites is a collaborative effort designed to improve access to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education. The University of Texas School of Public Health, KIPP Schools, the Houston Food Bank and Texas Children's Hospital have partnered to offer the 16-week program to third-grade children enrolled at KIPP Explore Academy and their parents. As you can see from the photos, those healthy kale smoothies are a hit!

Krueger’s leadership and support motivated and encouraged all those in attendance to join in and donate blood with the ASBP to help the warfighter, their family, retirees, and veterans in need worldwide.

Photos of the international students of Sergeants Major Course Class 69 Westward Expansion Field Studies Program taken at Prude Ranch, Fort Davis and Marfa, Texas on September 2, 2018. The day began with most of the students getting free reign to wander the ranch of take advantage of the horseback riding occurring throughout the day, the perfect atmosphere to learn about calvalry tactics. The paintball tournament had carried over to the next day, and the last two remaining teams competed in the championship round. That afternoon, the class departed to Fort Davis and learned the history of its strategic location, their operations, and how the soldiers would live from day to day. The evening took them to the Marfa USO, where they were treated to a catered barbecue dinner. The top five students with the most targets and fastest times for the Shoot and Run were awarded a coin and a silver (not silver) bullet, as well as one extra award for the fastest time overall. The 1st and 2nd place teams in paintball were also awarded coins. Mr. Michael Huffman, director of IMSO, recognized a number of people who were vital parts of making the FSP a huge success, concluding the FSP.
