Promise Program 2012 is a survey of the considerable talent of artists and arts writers emerging out of Queensland’s leading arts institutions. It heralds the beginning of an essential relationship between these graduates while critically contextualizing the practices of this next generation of contemporary Queensland artists. Promise Program 2012 is curated by Bec Dean and presented in collaboration with Queensland College of Art and University of Southern Queensland.

Get with the Program is a nonprofit organization created by Jason Williams ’05 that promotes and reinforces literacy in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among P-12 students.
During one of Get with the Program's year-round STEM camps, children partake in instrument DIY, Makey Makey Banana Piano, and a tour of the TIMARA studio.

The SR 167 Completion Project in north Pierce County requires construction of 20 bridges, including one over Wapato Way in Fife.
The wall for this bridge is clearly visible in black on the right side of this photo. The bridge will support a ramp that will allow drivers on northbound I-5 to exit to the new northbound SR 167 expressway.
The SR 167 Completion project, which is part of the Puget Sound Gateway Program, builds the new expressway in stages. The first 2-mile section adds a connection between I-5 and SR 509. Later stages will add the connection between SR 167’s current end near SR 410 and I-5.
