The University of Hartford offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs to prepare teachers for work in settings from preschools to universities. At the core of our teacher training is providing students with real-world experiential learning beginning with tutoring during their first semester freshman year, evolving in subsequent semesters to internships, professional apprenticeships, practica, and student teaching.

On April 11, the Philadelphia Regional Office celebrated Philadelphia’s “other” great team—HUD—with our FLY PHILLY FLY Employee Awards Celebration!
USG successfully hosted the first annual Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) Summer Bridge Program from June 16-19, 2014. ACES seeks to support students and create a seamless pathway from high school to college completion.
This year's theme was "Why Not You" and focused on career preparation and exploration. Students participated in activities that developed leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills essential for success in today's workforce.
Over 250 rising seniors attended the program. Coaching and support will continue for ACES scholars as they pursue their education with Montgomery County Public Schools, Montgomery College, and the Universities at Shady Grove.
Our campers had a great time during the 2015 Westminster Summer Programs, enjoying camps such as basketball, tennis, art and the always-popular Camp Wildcat.
The international students of Sergeants Major Course Class 69 began their second day of the Spring 2019 Field Studies Program on April 26. Day 2 of the program took the students on a historical tour through the Battle of Gettysburg.

On June 5 in Central Library's Teen Zone Learning Lab, teens joined with UAB’s School of Engineering to start computer coding, working with Arduinos (micro-computers), and designing, building, and racing a robot.
