Here's another one posted out of order, and sort of off-subject for me - painting in plein aire from the Harry Street stairs in San Francisco. A good time to relish this fine view, Bay Area friends, as it's made even finer right now by these fabulous sculptural alien-planet flower stalks about a third of the way up the stairs. They're very very big.
This is a re-design I did for a TV series shot in Montreal. I had to alter an existing tattoo that was used for far-away shots. Because of ownership issues, I painted a different ( but similar) version for close-ups. We also took care of making the tattoo transfers used for the days of shooting.
Trying out Kyle T Webster Copier brushes in updated Procreate 5 app for iPad. It now accepts Photoshop .abr brush files. They have a really nice scruffy texture. I can’t compare them in Procreate to what they must feel like in Ps, as I haven’t used Ps in ages. They're pretty nice in Procreate though. 👍
Composite composition of slice paintings, a simple wood frame work allows for a synthesis of the sliced views...

This is one of my favorites of the new sugar skulls I've created in the past year. Here are 2 colorful smiling sugar skulls inside a heart, staring into each others eyes, intoxicated in the beauty & mystery of being in love. These sugar skulls are androgynous, so they can represent love between a woman and a man, a woman and a woman, or a man and a man. YEAH!!
CAT-ASTROPHY!!!
A quick paintover exercise I had a lot of fun painting for a collaboration between myself and french artist Faireset! :)
And the timelapse:

This groovy sugar skull is sporting a dashing mustache (hence the title of the piece)!
This evening I spent some time drawing on the iPad using Adobe Ideas and Procreate apps. The more I use the Adobe Ideas app the more I like it.

A portrait that was printed on a 30 X 22 inches canvas as a christmas present for my father in law. I wanted to paint him as the Celtic God of hunting “Cernunnos”, minus the traditionnal horns that is. :)

I don't know why I didn't upload this back in 2018, but here it is now.
En plein aire in the woods, probably procreate but possibly some other app, on my ipad.
