I'm working on a painting today. First step is transferring the printed out line drawing to watercolor paper. I use some ghetto carbon paper I made, taped to the back of the drawing.
I decided to see what this picture would look like cross processed. If you would like to see the original please take a look in my unusual oddities folder.

phew! processed foods are gross!
still working on it- starting to go in now with actual text- what is on it now will be changed, but for most part planning on leaving timeline text at bottom, except info about obesity and disease which I haven't got to yet (as far as placement). This is the inside so outside of pamphlet will have actual timeline title.

I make my squashed coils straight out of the bag. Cut a chunk from the block. Cut the slice into pieces. Roll a bit into a rough coil, with slightly tapered ends. Smush it by hand or using the pony roller.

Since I can remember I've gone to the Tulsa Philharmonic with my grandmother, who is now 87 and still attending. This was from the last concert. :)
iR & iD off. Exposure Compensation of +1EV applied. If you can't just see the black embroidery on the black silk you need to adjust your monitor. As with all the shots in this report I've printed out this one to check the accuracy of what I'm seeing on-screen.
Liked the guard scribble enough it was converted to a more fleshed out drawing, as you can see in this very scattered process shot.
Polaroid CP3 Experimental process
Have you ever seen something you have been imagining for days and never spoken of, suddenly represented by another artist in Flickr?? Has it ever happened to you that the type of art you do suddenly appears in your favourite artist or bands´ artwork without them having possibly known? This sort of coincidence is known as Synchronicity but a group of artists and I have been observing the amount of times these coincidences happen. It has happened at least once to almost every person. This is a glimpse of what the scientific term of Collective Unconscious means and how it permeates reality, as science has shown before. The experiment we are about to embark on is based not on promoting synchronistic phenomena but merely on registering each time this happens until we have a large list of these synchronistic phenomena and can find general common factors. There is a place where all thoughts from everyone come together, the place where we dream things that happen or that dont, the place of beauty and art, our dreams. If this has happened to you, you would be helping an ongoing investigation if either you just mentioned it has happened to you (the mere affirmative has statistical value) or you kindly described your case as a comment on this journal. I will let all those who participate know the final result.
After cutting all the paper by hand with an exacto knife and ruler (from enormous 25x40 sheets), and emulsifying/burning the screen, I prepared to lay down the first color...not having screenprinted in 8 years! A deep breath at this moment.
While I do like the depth of color that the CP surface allows, these Arches blocks don't seem to cooperate when I want to separate them. I wonder if the glue binding is old and brittle. I think this is the only Arches block I've used, and I've mangled half of the sheets. The Fabriano blocks are a little better, in my opinion.
