This carpet is off-white. As you can see, it's yellow and there is a lot of yellow on the top of the dog's head. All of the other indoor photos had similar color issues. Thanks for any advice.

Of course, the main problem here is that the photo has been passed over completely. Again, no paragraph indentation has been left, and some vertical strokes have been misread by the scanner. For example, the "l" in Biltmore has been misread as a "t" in the second paragraph.
The computer does not understand that the caption is separate from the text, and has great difficulty with the italic typeface. The scanner also adds the photo credit in with the main text. The page number has been altered to "4a" and included with the body copy.
This project has made me realize how often we humans automatically understand the implicit message of the graphic designer without realizing it. It surprises me how much information is given just by a change of typeface or the position on the page.
This little gem that one of my coworkers spotted tells me that complaints are not taken well here. Crazy.
