Todos los que creen verdaderamente en Dios quieren llegar a ser personas elegidas por Dios y entrar el reino de los cielos. Por esta razón, muchas personas oran y participan en reuniones con frecuencia para acercarse a Dios, y también dan diezmo voluntariamente y se dedican a servir a Dios, etc. Pero, tener estas buenas obras no es suficiente para entrar en el reino de los cielos. También tenemos que resolver el problema del pecado y lograr la purificación, de esta manera podemos llegar a ser personas conformadas al corazón de Dios y tener la oportunidad de entrar en él. Tal como profetiza el Apocalipsis: “Bienaventurados los que lavan sus vestiduras para tener derecho al árbol de la vida y para entrar por las puertas a la ciudad” (Apocalipsis 22:14). También está escrito en el libro de Levítico: “[…] seréis, pues, santos porque yo soy santo” (Levítico 11:45).
Pensemos en el hecho de que aunque podamos hacer algunos comportamientos superficiales, aún vivimos en el pecado y lo cometemos incontroladamente. Por ejemplo, cuando lo que hacen los miembros de nuestra familia no está en armonía con nuestras ideas, perdemos los estribos y discutimos con ellos, en lugar de ser tolerantes y pacientes; cuando algo afecta nuestros intereses, aún podemos mentir y engañar, en vez de ser honestos, etc. ¿Cómo puede alguien como nosotros entrar en el reino de los cielos? Entonces, ¿cómo podemos dejar de vivir en el pecado?
El Señor Jesús dijo: “El que me rechaza y no recibe mis palabras, tiene quien lo juzgue; la palabra que he hablado, esa lo juzgará en el día final” (Juan 12:48). “Santifícalos en la verdad; tu palabra es verdad” (Juan 17:17).
Dios dice: “Aunque Jesús hizo mucha obra entre los hombres, sólo completó la redención de toda la humanidad, se convirtió en la ofrenda por el pecado del hombre; no lo libró de su carácter corrupto. Salvar al hombre totalmente de la influencia de Satanás no sólo requirió que Jesús se convirtiera en la ofrenda por el pecado y cargara con los pecados del hombre, sino también que Dios realizara una obra incluso mayor para librar completamente al hombre de su carácter corrompido por Satanás. Y así, ahora que el hombre ha sido perdonado de sus pecados, Dios volvió a la carne para guiar al hombre a la nueva era, y comenzó la obra de castigo y juicio. Esta obra llevó al hombre a una esfera más elevada. Todos los que se someten bajo Su dominio disfrutarán una verdad más elevada y recibirán mayores bendiciones. Vivirán realmente en la luz, y obtendrán la verdad, el camino y la vida”.
De esto, podemos ver que el Señor vendrá a expresar la verdad y a hacer la obra de juicio en los últimos días, para resolver nuestra naturaleza corrupta, purificarnos y salvarnos completamente. Solo aceptando y experimentando la obra de juicio del regreso del Señor podemos lograr la purificación del pecado, convertirnos en personas que agradan a Dios y ser llevados a Su reino.

I recently took a trip to land between the lakes national recreation area in Kentucky. A nature station there houses animals that for various reasons cannot be released to the wild. Two beautiful coyotes occupied one enclosure. One seemed very tame and came close to the fence. This one was very shy and reticent, although he looks a little more stern in this shot. It's so wonderful to see wildlife this close, but I was glad there was a fence between us.
I "created" this last week using Photoleap A.I. , but hesitated to post it. The intended reference was "The Apprentice", a TV show that helped made Trump "famous". Then on Easter morning I saw the obscene and threatening post that he made on social media and decided that this image is very appropriate. His action wasNOT that of a normal national leader.
When my aging mother started having dementia problems I attended a workshop related to her condition. There I learned that one of the signs of dementia was the use of inappropriate language.Trump's Easter outburst on social media was NOT a sign of a crass person. It was a sign that the 25th Amendment needs to be invoked due to his mental unfitness to hold his elected position. A number of national leaders have bluntly said the same.
We need to resolve this issue before the nation and the world experiences even worse than the present disruptions. We need to do it NOW.

A pair of class 563 bi-mode (battery and electric) multiple units prepares to depart from Hausach, working train SWE 87520, 12.20 Freudenstadt Hbf - Offenburg, an RS1 service. The two units are formed of sections numbered 563 024-9 and 563 124-7, and 563 107-2 and 563 007-4, which also carry European Vehicle Numbers starting 94 80 0 and ending with the Vehicle Keeper Mark D-SDEHC (for Siemens Mobility GmbH).
I'd travelled on this train from Freudenstadt Hbf, but it stopped for long enough that I made it through the subway and onto the island platform (for my next train) with time to get out my camera and take some photos before it began to move off. I guess this was because time was needed to change from battery to electric (OHL) mode, the line from Freudenstadt not being electrified. The train, operated by SWEG Südwestdeutsche Landesverkehr-GmbH, should have continued beyond Offenburg onto the non-electrified branch to Bad Griesbach, but the DB journey planner was reporting that there were signalling problems as well as a failed train on the branch.

From Basel to Zürich: Re 460 031, which I had already photographed two years earlier, is taking off with its Romanshorn-Brig Intercity service. The Letzigrabenbrücke is the longest railway bridge in Switzerland. The ramp on this side is 27‰ - at the other end, it goes down at 40‰, but that is not a problem because the bridge is normally only in use for trains in this direction (that is, away from the photographer). The bridge's main purpose is to get trains all the way to the other side of the bundle of tracks leading out of the main station towards Altstetten. Zürich, 25-06-2020.
Prairie Light, continued. I was driving up Butte Road before dawn and had to stop near my favourite tree. A crescent moon and Venus hung in the sky above; in the distance lay silhouetted 70 Mile Butte (behind the tree) and the small bump of the Sleeping Lion (to the right).
I had to get across an irrigation ditch in the dark. Dry in October, so no problem. The brittle grass was knee-high. There was no wind. I carried my tripod with a single lens, the 14-24mm, and walked along a dyke until it felt right. A robin watched me approach, and didn't fly away. The silence was exquisite, as if the world were holding its breath. And then the moment passed.
Shooting at dawn is so different from shooting at sunset: we watch the light grow, not fade away.

In December I did a Christmas shot of Bruno with Playmobil Santa carrying on in a series of dogs with Playmobil photos. My lovely wife then pointed out that Aggie did not have her own Playmobil shot. This is frankly because she used to be afraid of stuff like this but it was time to try again. She did great and we knocked off this shot in 5 minutes without assistance from other dogs or humans. I think it shows her curious yet timid side quite well.
Applicable in this case, as our Rolo was at the Vet's office earlier this week. An ear infection has (sort-of) sidelined him, so we thought it best to let him sleep it off.
The saying to "let sleeping dogs lie" is used as a way to not talk about things which have caused problems in the past, or to not try to change a situation because you might cause problems. The worst phrase in his world: Clean your ears?

I had a worried hour or so today when Flickr returned the message "file type not recognized". NOW what do I do? was my first thought. Luckily, I decided just to wait awhile--that the problem must be Flickr, and not my computer. Now it seems OK. This one worked.
