Had to take her in today because of weird eye discharge and patches around eye.
And $236 later they don't know what it is. As always, no one knows what the problem is with me or my pets when I take them. That's why I never go, even though my feet kill me every day and I know other stuff is wrong.
The afternoon sun was unbearable in the front lobby of Massage Envy North Hills. After the shade install, the employees seemed to be very pleased that the glare is no longer and issue with their displays. From an aesthetic standpoint, you can hardly see that a shade has been installed and seeing through the material is no problem.
I was having a problem with Carrara and a bottle, in particular the liquid going grey when inside the bottle. So I rendered this to see where the problem was. It turned out the bottle had some shader domain issues. Doh.

The Problems of First Contact: First contact is one of the lasting tropes of SF. But once contact has happened, then what? Should an advanced race hide itself from us for fear of stunting our natural growth? Is it immoral to leave individuals in primitive poverty in the hope that they might one day develop their own culture? Can advanced peoples colonize a planet inhabited by primitives and live in peace with them? Are there any useful object lessons from science fiction? How about from our own history?

A few weeks ago Juniper had a plugged salivary gland under her tongue causing it to stick out the side of her mouth and she couldn't eat. The gland was enlarged and about the size of a marble!
My vet had to go in through the side of her neck and remove the: lymph node, salivary gland, and mandibular gland. He removed them because the plugged gland is commonly caused by cancer and removing those glands removes most of the possibility of cancer. We sent them in for a biopsy and it was NOT cancer. Yay!
I didn't mean to shave her whiskers while I was shaving her neck for surgery, I hope they grow back!
