Our second Geek Camp attempt at printing in 3D was much more successful, thanks to Archie's engineering to help the plastic spool more easily.

Rolled over wet ink-jet printed paper, it sticks to the black parts and not to the white (or the other way around?), producing an extremely crude reproduction of the image.
This was printed before I had the belts tightened properly and yet the end results are still not too bad.
The three blocks for Jaguar Masks print, carved out of poplar wood.
There is actually a forth block not pictured, however is it just a solid woodblock without any carved areas. I used this as the white and is the first block printed.

In August, the FDA approved the first ever 3D printed drug Spritam — an anti-epileptic medicine developed by Aprecia Pharmaceuticals.
Aprecia uses ZipDose Technology platform that enables delivery of a high drug load, up to 1000 mg in a single dose.
FDA had previously approved medical devices and prosthetics developed by additive manufacturing technologies, but the approval of Spritam marks a new era in the manufacturing of tablets.
As Prof Lee Cronin of University of Glasgow said in a 2012 TED talk, “the idea is that we want to have a universal set of inks that we put out with the printer, and you download the blueprint, the organic chemistry for that molecule and you make it in the device. And so you can make your molecule in the printer using this software.”

SCHOOL SOUVENIR
1920
The path to school is a royal road,
Tis the kings highway of youth,
That leadeth on to the hall of fame,
And to light and life and truth.
My Dear Pupil
Swiftly has run the tide of
time since our term began and now we have reached it close
In parting from you I cannot
express the love and esteem
I bear you. Our mutual labors
and friendships formed will
proudly live in our memories
That time may deal gently with
you, is the earned wish of.
Your Teacher

AT SCHOOL CLOSE
As I clasp your hand in a fond adieu
At the close of this happy day,
I've a kindly word I would say to you
Ere you speed on your homeward way.
I would thank you first for your faithfulness
To the tasks that each schoolday brought;
And I part from you filled with gratefulness
For the hours that so well you wrought.
Not the richest gems of the rarest hus,
can compare in their regal worth,
To the thought so large and grand and true
It encompasses all the earth.
Let each day of life bring gems most rare,
To bedeck your youthful mind;
And enlarge your life in all that's fair
In the judgment of all mankind.
May your life be triumphant, glad and strong,
With a purpose in all you do;
And your days rejoice like a victor's song --
As harmonious, good and true.
Affectionately,
Your Teacher.
You Will Be Needed
The Greatest men were little boys,
Great women, little maids;
They had their childhood pains and joys,
Their pranks and escapades.
They had to learn their lessons, too,
Because that was the rule,
In fact, they did the same as you
At home, at play, at school.
This mighty world moves on apace
Brining hope and sorrow --
The actors of today give place
To actors of tomorrow.
When thirty years have gone around,
Those who are youths today
Will be the men and women found
In life's great battle fray.
You must be trained to do your part
In history's career.
I'd have you take this thought to heart
When closing this school year.
"Advance in learning as you advance in life."
And now the time has come about
The closing words to say
The shadows fall and lengthen out
And mark declining day

Yellow is in the screen and my old squeegee fell forward into the ink and cause me a lot of hassle throughout the printing, with my hands covered in yellow. Should've just cleaned it when it happened, but wooden squeegees don't clean easily.
