Behind the old building in North Melbourne, Victoria the actual school was located. It was used way back in the 70s when there was a four year apprenticeship to learn the trade of printing. It hasn't been used for over ten years and now with only a few weeks to go the four story building is being pulled down.

Suitable for transparent film negatives, not so much for calotypes. I gave up after one hour. Max timer setting is 10 min counting down to switch off both up and down bench of UV tubes ( Philips TLD 15 W, 2 rows of 4) provides vacuum with a small but noisy pump which has a leak somewhere in the system. Still neat for cyanotypes from old and new film negs, 10-15 min. exposures indoors, not bad.
