This two word dialog box is an Epson engineer's way of saying your printer is totally stuffed.
That is, neither of the two buttons they have that consitutes an interface will do anything. The Utility can also do nothing.
Call? Why should I call? It should say "unplug your printer and take it to a repair center".

A printer's mark is a device used for visual identification of the printer, his business, and, many times, his family. It could be considered as the first form of copyright to protect the intellectual contents and guarantee the quality of a book. In the beginning, during the mid-fifteenth century, these devices were very simple designs. However, by the mid-sixteenth century, they had evolved into a serious art form with ornate and complex patterns. There are fine examples of these marks on the dome of the Main Reading Room above the College Library Reference Desk.
This guide will help to locate and identify the printer; variations in the printer's name, which was often altered to be linguistically consistent with the country in which he worked; his working period; and the first known date of the device, if available.

Over the break and over the last couple of weeks I have been experimenting with how to represent these ideas. My recent experiments explore this aging cycle by repeatedly printing images with a basic consumer-grade inkjet printer until the ink from the printer has completely been depleted. The image quality of the photographs progressively becomes poorer and poorer until the image “disappears.” After the image no longer printed I was interested in the processes of “renovating” or “gentrifying” by replacing the exhausted ink tanks with new ones, in an effort to be able to print the image again “as it should be seen.” In the same way that the aging and gentrifying processes have an effect on neighborhoods, I want to see the effect that continual inkjet printing has on images.

I finally got a photo printer after accepting that the cost of home printing was worth the convenience. I ended up getting a Epson Photo 1400, which will print up to 13" x 19" The photo on the printer is a 8.5" x 11". My wife is happy to be able to print out more photos. I am hoping that we don't have to spend a lot of ink. So far I am happy with the quality of the prints.
