Taken for the RPS "Bleeding London" Project. As part of this project I decided to set myself my own
challenge and project to photograph every street in the Square Mile- progress can be followed at bleedinglondoncity.blogspot.co.uk/
Printers Alley is supposed to be this blocks-long stretch of bars where a bunch of printers used to be, but I found it to be a half-block of bars with barker types. The first one had nude karaoke, so there is that.

For Xmas* I bought myself a spiff new printer. I haven't owned a printer for moral reasons for 3 years now. I finally found a morally compatible printer. Here is Brunhilda** and some of the prints she has given birth to.
Aside from being a good printer, Brunhilda also amuses us with her R2D2-like jiggling and rocking as she does her work. She also beeps like R2 when either a problem occurs or, most likely, when she is done with her work.
I think I have a pet, finally.
*I am conducting a war on Christmas, just like those early Christians who refused to write out Christmas and wrote Xmas instead for fear of taking the Lord's name in vain.
**All computers or peripherals in my household have German names given that the house is called the Wilhelm.
