I can't count all the sheets that I've printed from this printer. It's a shame that Rutgers will start limiting printing next year.

This is John Kemp, Heidelberg platen operator at Ramsgate printers Boulanger Bros. (no longer operating) Time exposure taken about 1970 with Zeiss box camera.
These platens are still in use all over the world and I have seen them in the Philippines and in Turkey and Greece. They are perfect for printing items that require numbering and perforating such as raffle tickets.
Immensely strong there are variants used for cutting, creasing and very high quality metallic foil blocking.

As we redesign the giant printer, we're considering what tools we can use to make it possible. Rapid prototyping via CNC allows us to quickly and easily iterate and design new parts and functionality, test it, and re-design again.
