I have found this to be the most successful test charts around to calibrate a monitor especially as it has a step wedge for black and white
New cnc machined aluminum extruder. I tested a pla version before machining a more durable aluminum one. Seems to work well so far.

Bought local off eBay for a bargain price of £90, the best thing was it's full of complete sets of wood letters! In the middle of restoration otherwise my hubby won't let it in the house:-)

This delightful little alley called Printers Lane with its ghost sign of Shepard and Newman Printers was one of the seldom seen group. As I cycled up to see the lane, I noticed a construction fence on the left - seems the secret is out.

Check out my new printer corner. Sooo excited about my new Epson Stylus Photo R2000!!! HUGE thanks to Jeff, who patiently waded through Epson wonky set-up process (we never did get the wifi working). I've successfully printed on watercolor paper and can't wait to experiment with multimedia in the coming year, perhaps do the occasional print for my Etsy shop (inkygirl.etsy.com/) as well.
Keeping the old HP Photosmart Plus for day-to-day printing.
This is the contact printer I have. Everything is set up like it should be, but I think it has too bright of a light and was overexposing my photo paper. It looks neat (I'm a sucker for retro 50s equipment), but I don't know how functional I can make it. I may try replacing the bulbs with the lowest wattage frosted bulbs I can find.
