This little guy was an afterthought, a project built totally out of scrap wood from my stash. It's going to solve a huge problem -- we had no idea where we were going to put our laser printer in our new desk setup, but now this stand will sit right underneath the desk and support not just the printer but also a ream or two of paper.

(The gobs of stuff on the front are spots of wood filler; I'll sand it off tomorrow.)

You can really ignore this. I needed to show how to adjust one's margins.

This is a roughly 60mm dodecahedron printed on our latest MakerBot prototype. The z-stage is a bit wobbly, but the rest of the build quality is nice.

We need a printer. This was me installing a printer driver on my wifes computer so we could print our reservation confirmation emails. Joy. And yes - that's another iBook underneath this one. It was actually our FIRST iBook, but now it lives at our inlaws house.

James Beard was a long time fine printer in northern California and friends with Porter Garnett who carved this sign by hand for him. Elegant letterforms and simple display speaks volumes.

作品描述

設計說明:

PH印表機以水代替汙染環境的墨水,依照檔案給予的顏色,將色彩分析對照,讓水經由電解作用之後形成不同酸檢比例,在酸檢感應紙上顯現出不同顏色。

PH printer replaces ink with water. Use the electrolysis to change the PH percentage of the water, up to the file, PH printer will analyze the colors and makes water to change different PH, so that the PH reaction paper will show different colors. The idea is creative and eco-friendly.

Took three images of items I've made and had a printer create postcards. They're printed on glossy paper.

The postcards are available through my shop. Please see my Flickr profile for the link to my shop.

The window star is one of many that I've made in a variety of colors and patterns. The points of the stars are folded anywhere from 8-25 times to create a pattern. Then the points are glued together to create the star.

A co-worker sent this to our office recently:

"Don't you hate it when your printer jams? He's not dead but he's sure stuck. They do end up getting him out and letting him loose for those of you that are mouse lovers. How'd you like to get to work and find this problem?"

It's a gloomy rainy day in California.

As we redesign the giant printer, we're considering what tools we can use to make it possible. Rapid prototyping via CNC allows us to quickly and easily iterate and design new parts and functionality, test it, and re-design again. This is the newest design, using a multiple pulley system which controls the speed of the string holding up the printer head... more to come soon!

My grandma bought me a printer's box at a yard sale a while ago. So I recently refurbished it and displayed all of my rocks and sea shells in it, I think it looks nice and snazzy in my room, yet it has an old charm too. :)

My 6th attempt at printing geography cw today. 2nd attempt on this printer, but we'll forget about that.

I've been tagged 3 times in the past what, weekend? So Ima just write stuff for a bit, kay?

i) The latest I've ever stayed up was 6.30am; that was 3 years ago. I tired to beat it on Saturday, but the clocks changed so I don't know what the result was really :)

ii) I've recently become a non-competitive sport addict.

iii) I love my bike.

iv) I NEED A JOB.

v) I can't wait for university.

vi) I cba to tag anyone :)

I don't have blonde streaks. I blame my abnormal lighting (in comments).

Also, here's a beautiful, easy tab :D

The labeling on theses two cartridges is identical, but the chip is different. The guy at Cartridge World says that it's physically possible to refill both, but the one on the left cannot be "reset", while the one on the right can. Good to have a working printer again.
