this printer may have been genetically crossed with a lettuce and the result was this chimera, found growing wild in the street.

We need a printer. This was me installing a printer driver on my wifes computer so we could print our reservation confirmation emails. Joy. And yes - that's another iBook underneath this one. It was actually our FIRST iBook, but now it lives at our inlaws house.

作品描述
設計說明:
PH印表機以水代替汙染環境的墨水,依照檔案給予的顏色,將色彩分析對照,讓水經由電解作用之後形成不同酸檢比例,在酸檢感應紙上顯現出不同顏色。
PH printer replaces ink with water. Use the electrolysis to change the PH percentage of the water, up to the file, PH printer will analyze the colors and makes water to change different PH, so that the PH reaction paper will show different colors. The idea is creative and eco-friendly.

MGFX Studio worked in conjunction with titles Designer Matt Curtis to bring the titles to "The Eagle" to life.
Using a combination of cyber scanning, 3D, practical effects and digital compositing the opening sequence was born.
MGFX Studio lead designer, Matt Lawrence conceived a method for revealing the main title that simulated melting. Using an inkjet printer to print single letters onto acetate, boiling water was then poured over the surface giving a wonderful melting effect that would be impossible to re-create in the time available any other way. These letter elements were then composited using after effects by Brad Le-Riche creating the main title reveal of the film.
We were given access to the eagle film prop which we had cyber scanned then rebuilt and textured in Maya by lead 3D animator Seb Barker.
This 3D element was then composited in After Effects by Barry Corcoran, layering in smoke plates over his matte painting of the hills.
The paragraphs of text were painstakingly animated using a custom alphabet of letters that formed out of particles, this gave us total control over how those letters revealed on and wrote off.
The final title sequence then leads seamlessly into the opening river sequence of the film setting the scene perfectly.

Remark: The following newspaper item appeared in the July 15, 1909, issue of The Chesterton Tribune:
DEDICATED A HOSPITAL.
Impressive Services at Hammond on Sunday.
The Rt. Rev. Bishop Alerding, of the diocese of Ft. Wayne, officiating at a ceremony solemnized at Hammond last Sunday when St. Margaret's hospital was dedicated to the use of the church and its members.
Over three thousand people attended the services which were very beautiful and impressive. The events of the day began with the serving of an elaborate dinner in the basement of the new hospital early in the morning. The guests were served until three o'clock by Ladies of St. Joseph's and All Saints churches. Later in the day there was parade in which all the Catholic societies of the city took part.
After the parade the ceremonies of the day were held, the principal feature being the adress [sic] by Bishop Alerding. A large number of visiting nuns and priests were in attendance and many Catholics from various places in the diocese.

A co-worker sent this to our office recently:
"Don't you hate it when your printer jams? He's not dead but he's sure stuck. They do end up getting him out and letting him loose for those of you that are mouse lovers. How'd you like to get to work and find this problem?"
As we redesign the giant printer, we're considering what tools we can use to make it possible. Rapid prototyping via CNC allows us to quickly and easily iterate and design new parts and functionality, test it, and re-design again. This is the newest design, using a multiple pulley system which controls the speed of the string holding up the printer head... more to come soon!
My grandma bought me a printer's box at a yard sale a while ago. So I recently refurbished it and displayed all of my rocks and sea shells in it, I think it looks nice and snazzy in my room, yet it has an old charm too. :)
Print out this paper for a very easy origami penguin. A version for color printers can be seen here:

The labeling on theses two cartridges is identical, but the chip is different. The guy at Cartridge World says that it's physically possible to refill both, but the one on the left cannot be "reset", while the one on the right can. Good to have a working printer again.
