On the step of our patio doors at the back of the house , paw prints in the snow !! Not the Surrey Puma I hear many a cry . A beast of myth and legend indeed ( follow the link to the Surrey Puma story please )

-- but fear not - this just next door's cat asking to come in . She , and another cat from another neighbour's house , they both like to call a number of times every day . They will just sit there waiting to be allowed in , or more usually - up on hind legs and running with their front paws on the glass of the doors !! In this weather that means D,I.Y. window cleaning in that corner nearly every day !!
With that in mind , a sight and sound called ---------

Compositionally Challenged Week 9 - Minimalist photography
We had just enough snow overnight to catch a visitor's prints. Going by the size of these, 3" each, I'm going to assume that they were made by our neighborhood bobcat. : )
I just read that bobcats don't leave claw prints since their claws retract, so now my guess would be raccoon. I really don't know. Lol
Print negative was made by a contact of a lith print on film.
Salt print onto Bergger Cot-320.

Scanned from a selection of colour prints bought in the early 1980s. Sadly cannot recall the company, but they were all good quality aerial prints. Credit must go to the unknown photographer.
