The Lufthansa Junkers Ju 52/3m, D-ANOY, named "Rudolf von Thüna" on display at the visitor's center of Munich airport.
The Ju 52/3m is a trimotor transport aircraft manufactured from 1931 to 1952 - post WWII production was at Avions Amiot in France ("Amiot AAC 1 Toucan") and at Casa in Spain ("CASA 352" and "CASA 352L").
The airplane was initially designed as a single-engine aircraft, but finally produced as a trimotor hence the /3m suffix in the designation (3m = 3 Motoren = 3 engines).
Junkers Flugzeugwerk pioneered civil air transport like no other company - already in 1919 the Junkers F 13 was the world's first all-metal transport aircraft (the 1925 Ford Trimotor just copied the structural principles from the pioneer work of Hugo Junkers).

Yesterday, I saw that I was not a member of a Flickr group anymore. In short, "kicked-out". I didn't break any rules neither posted anything obscene. I think I have HQ photos (pm me if I don't have). I actually supported this group that from time to time I award photos in their photo pool. I feel a bit bad because I don't know the "why" I was out of the group. I was thinking maybe my work are not good enough? Of course I know beauty is in the eyes of the beholder but doing such act to members reduces motivation, as well as inspiration specially to those who are still learning the art.
Anyway, I took the "higher path" - the path of understanding the admin / admins. If they feel they are gods that they can choose who they want to be part of their group then be it. They don't deserve respect and support at least from me. The fact that I have high regard for their group. Maybe they forgot they were newbies once...
I am thankful that most of the groups I support are not like this group. They are groups that nurture creativity, talent and friendships... And I see beauty in their photo pools. They showcase talents from professional and amateur Flickr users. They create a dynamic "melting pot" of people all over the world from different cultures and walks of life. They give chances to newbies like me to upgrade our game and learn from their works.
Ok, enough said... JUST SHARING MY THOUGHTS 😍 I guess my real life work in community inclusion and diversity just took a bit of me today 😇 thus writing what I observe and feel about this.

The Beemster is the first so-called polder in the Netherlands that was reclaimed from a lake, the water being extracted out of the lake by windmills. The Beemster Polder was dried during the period 1609 through 1612. It has preserved intact its well-ordered landscape of fields, roads, canals, dykes and settlements, laid out in accordance with classical and Renaissance planning principles. A grid of canals parallels the grid of roads in the Beemster.

Pachamama is a goddess revered by the indigenous people of the Andes. She is also known as the earth/time mother. In Inca mythology, Pachamama is a fertility goddess who presides over planting and harvesting, embodies the mountains, and causes earthquakes. She is also an ever-present and independent deity who has her own self-sufficient and creative power to sustain life on this earth.[1] Her shrines are hallowed rocks, or the boles of legendary trees, and her artists envision her as an adult female bearing harvests of potatoes and coca leaves.
The four cosmological Quechua principles – Water, Earth, Sun, and Moon – claim Pachamama as their prime origin. Priests sacrifice llamas, cuy (guinea pigs), and elaborate, miniature, burned garments to her. Pachamama is the mother of Inti the sun god and Mama Killa the moon goddess. Pachamama is said to also be the wife of Inti, her son.
In pre-Hispanic culture, Pachamama was often a cruel goddess eager to collect her sacrifices. After the Spanish colonization of the Americas, conversion to Roman Catholicism took place and the figure of the Virgin Mary was equated with that of the Pachamama for many of the indigenous people.

The facade details of Bridgepoint Hospital in Toronto (2014) make for an interesting geometric pattern.Incorporating evidence-based, patient centered design principles, this award winning hospital was designed by architect teams: Stantec Architecture / KPMB Architects (Planning, Design and Compliance Architects) and HDR Architecture / Diamond Schmitt Architects (Design, Build, Finance and Maintain Architects)
Anish Kapoor's monumental Tall Tree and the Eye (2009), recently installed outside the museum, consists of 73 reflective spheres anchored around three axes. This illusionistic work continues the artist's examination of complex mathematical and structural principles embodied in sculptural form. The mirrored surfaces of the orbs reflect and refract one another, simultaneously creating and dissolving form and space. Images of the surrounding city, including the Nervión river, Buren's sculptural intervention on La Salve Bridge (Arcos rojos/Arku gorriak, 2007), and the museum itself, are cast into dynamic suspension. Kapoor reminds us of the instability and ephemerality of our vision-and by extension of our world.

A lot of great things has happened lately that i suddenly realized i haven't been shooting and posting here at flickr.
I am undergoing a certain kind of hibernation state that compels me to discipline my self and suspend everything else for the sake of some other tremendous things in anticipation. I know this is a difficult stage and somehow the only strength i have is the passion that empowers my will to carry on...

Le bâtiment Richard Meier, d'un blanc éclatant, se dresse au cœur de la nature environnante. As one of the greatest international museum architects, Richard Meier refers in his architecture to the principles of classical modernism, a style that reached its peak in the early 20th century. This era also shaped the work of the artist duo Hans Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp. Meier's building is bathed in light and seems to transport visitors away from their everyday lives. Here, the works find a space conducive to their development.

Les immeubles Perret au Havre - Patrimoine UNESCO
Après la destruction du centre-ville du Havre à 85% en 1944, l'architecte Auguste Perret a reconstruit la ville selon les principes de l'architecture moderne. Sur 160 hectares, plus de 160 immeubles en béton armé composent ce site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
Perret a utilisé le béton armé et la préfabrication pour créer des bâtiments de six étages avec balcons filants, disposés sur une trame orthogonale de rues et places. Les façades en béton brut présentent des motifs géométriques sobres, parfois inspirés de l'architecture antique.
Éléments emblématiques : l'hôtel de ville (18 étages), les Halles Art déco, l'église Notre-Dame et la Porte Océane. Ce chef-d'œuvre d'architecture moderne reste unique en France.

The Perret Buildings in Le Havre - UNESCO Heritage
After 85% of Le Havre's city center was destroyed in 1944, architect Auguste Perret rebuilt the city following modern architecture principles. Spanning 160 hectares, over 160 reinforced concrete buildings make up this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Perret used reinforced concrete and prefabrication to create six-story buildings with continuous balconies, arranged on an orthogonal grid of streets and squares. The raw concrete facades feature simple geometric patterns, sometimes inspired by ancient architecture.
Key landmarks include: the 18-story city hall, the Art Deco market halls, Notre-Dame church, and the Porte Océane. This masterpiece of modern architecture remains unique in France.

Our group theme this week is to create a glowing, vibrant and dreamy image using the Orton effect. The technique is named after its inventor, Michael Orton, who started in the 1980s to experiment with two pieces of over-exposed slide film sandwiched together. The principles of this technique can also be used in graphics programs like Photoshop to achieve a similar effect. The main idea is to make two images of the same scene, one in focus, and one out of focus and over-exposed, and to combine both pictures into one image.

I applied a Gaussian blur of 30 in this case.
I've experimented with this technique on several images this week and have found it very hit and miss in terms of results, although I do love the vibrancy the process adds to the images. I would like to revisit this again in the autumn, as I can imagine it's a process that will sit very well with autumn colours and foliage.

It's amazing how fast photography is changing. I never gave HDR a thought until just under a year ago when I used my own car for my first HDR experiment on Jan.1st of this year. This photo now just happens to be my #1 most viewed photo at about 50,000 views (mostly because of you do a search for HDR it's usually the #1 or #2 most relevant photo).
And this photo is another in the series I did with my work buddy Jeff. The original Viper photo I posted is now my #1 most interesting photo of all time.
And according to my most interesting photos, the top 14 shots are all HDR shots, all taken this year. My previous #1 shot held that position since I initially posted it over 2 years ago. This was when I was at my peak of doing night-time long exposure shots. At that point, my photography was all about going out somewhere random late at night and taking long exposures at night. I also had my times doing tilt shift miniture fakes and using toy cameras for another way of looking at things as well as using textures to help enhance a photo.
What I'm getting at is that these fads come and go. Who knows what will be next? Years and years ago, improvements in photography came at the advances in use of film, and better lenses, and artificial lighting, but these came at a rate of every few years.
My next goal is to obtain and use slip-in filters to create more natural, even exposures.
I know a lot of people going back to film and understanding the original principles of what makes an out-of-the-camera photo more interesting. I think if we all strive to start there, we'll need to do a lot less enhancing to obtain Explore greatness.. or even the accolades from our peers.

"It is not important whether you believe in spirituality or not, the four principles of spirituality apply to all from the moment one is born and will remain there till the end!
The Four principles of Spirituality are...
The First Principle states:
"Whomsoever you encounter is the right one"
This means that no one comes into our life by chance. Everyone who is around us, anyone with whom we interact, represents something, whether to teach us something or to help us improve a current situation.
The Second Principle states:
"Whatever happened is the only thing that could have happened"
Nothing, absolutely nothing of that which we experienced could have been any other way. Not even in the least important detail. There is no "If only I had done that differently, then it would have been different". No. What happened is the only thing that could have taken place and must have taken place for us to learn our lesson in order to move forward. Every single situation in life which we encounter is absolutely perfect, even when it defies our understanding and our ego.
The Third Principle states:
"Each moment in which something begins is the right moment"
Everything begins at exactly the right moment, neither earlier nor later. When we are ready for it, for that something new in our life, it is there, ready to begin.
The Fourth Principle states:
"What is over, is over"
It is that simple. When something in our life ends, it helps our evolution. That is why, enriched by the recent experience, it is better to let go and move on.
If these words strike a chord, it's because you meet the requirements and understand that not one single snowflake falls accidentally in the wrong place!

Ion's Mystical Principles: Incremental Metamorphosis Or Spiritual Transfiguration Of Reality
One of the principles of the Ion Mystical World is "The Incremental Metamorphosis Or Spiritual Transfiguration Of Reality".
Spiritual evolution does not normally take place due to large immediate changes, it requires learning, small increments that with the time factor and the preservation can change us spiritually.
An inner transformation or metamorphosis that in addition to transforming us ends up transforming those around us through our interactions. This network of interactions and transformations does not only change those with whom we interact but also with time, the World or Reality that surrounds us, multiplying, increasing real and lasting change with repercussions in time and thus also in the Future.
Like the caterpillar that turns into a butterfly but needs to feed, we also need knowledge and learning to strengthen our spirit and learning about ourselves, only then we can understand ourselves and understand better the others.
When the butterfly frees itself it interacts with its world, pollinating, reproducing itself or feeding other living beings, strange as it seems a single butterfly does not seem to make a difference but if it did not exist the repercussions would be huge in the natural world by the multiplier of their interaction and influence.
So we all have an important role in transforming this World and we must not give it up, as we will be giving up the future!

Um dos princípios do Mundo Místico de Ion é a " A Metamorfose Incremental Ou Transfiguração Espiritual Da Realidade" .
A Evolução espiritual não se dá normalmente por grandes transformações imediatas, necessita de aprendizagem, pequenos incrementos que com o factor tempo e a preserverança podem mudar-nos espiritualmente.
Uma transformação ou metamorfose interior que para além de nos transformar acaba por transformar os que nos rodeiam através das nossas interações. Esta rede de interações e transformações não mudam só aqueles com quem interagimos mas também com o tempo o Mundo ou a Realidade que nos rodeia multiplicando , incrementando uma mudança real e duradoira com repercussões no tempo e assim também no Futuro.
Tal como a lagarta que se transforma em borboleta mas precisa de se alimentar, também nós precisamos de conhecimento e aprendizagem para fortalecer o nosso espirito e a aprendizagem sobe nós proprios, só assim podemos compreender e entender também melhor os outros.
Quando a borboleta se liberta ela interage com o seu mundo, polinizando, reproduzindo-se ou alimentando outros seres vivos, por estranho que pareça uma só borboleta parece não fazer a diferença mas se ela não existisse as repercussões seriam enormes no Mundo natural pelo factor multiplicador da sua interação e influencia.
Todos temos então um papel importante de transformação neste mundo e não devemos abdicar dele, pois estaremos a abdicar do Futuro !

Ion Mystical Principles - The Spiritual Transmutation of Forms
The term transmutation can have several symbolisms, in Alchemy, Transmutation is the conversion of base elements such as lead into precious metals, such as gold or silver.
The artificial production of gold, chrysopoeia, was a goal of alchemists, who sough to develop a Philosopher's Stone , a mythic alchemical substance that would be capable of the transmutation. It is also called the elixir of life, useful for rejuvenation and for achieving immortality.
Today we recognize alchemy as a pseudoscience, and give chemistry its rightful place as a serious scientific field, but the two terms initially overlapped in meaning before separating by the 17th century, just as astrology and astronomy did during the same period.
In particle physics, dimensional transmutation is a physical mechanism providing a linkage between a dimensionless parameter and a dimensionful parameter. The nuclear transmutation, the conversion of one chemical element or isotope into another through nuclear reaction.
Transmutation was also one of the names commonly used for evolutionary ideas in the 19th century before Charles Darwin published On The Origin of Species (1859).
In the case of the Mystic World of Ion, spiritual transmutation assumes a force of creative transformation initially potentiated by the knowledge that extends to the forms that surround us but also to the physical transformation in ourselves.
The search for knowledge, observation and experimentation lead to discovery and rediscovery, creation and recreation, which ultimately is a powerful instrument for transforming objects, ideas and concepts.
Ultimately, knowledge and spiritual recognition about ourselves allows us to evolve in the search for more evolutionary stages of consciousness and transform our attitudes towards others and the world around us.
This spiritual transmutation will influence our diet, the way we sleep and rest, the way we solve problems, socialize and the way we work. It is thus a force for transforming the physical world and ourselves, being able to shape not only the world around us but our habits and even our own body if we adopt healthier habits.
