This is a shot of a corn-field with the Common (aka Corn) Poppy (Papaver rhoeas) growing in it. Unfortunately in recent years the Common Poppy has been in decline due to the intensive use of herbicides, particularly in the UK. Luckily there seems to be a slight resurgence in their numbers, although whether that's because they're becoming resistant, or whether farmers are using less herbicide I don't know.
This shot's also interesting because it contains all three of the primary colours of light, red, green and blue. You can make any colour by varying their intensities. For example if you add equal amounts of Red and Green you get Yellow. More info on that here.
