I'm sure the first thought is, 'she turned it black and white, then colour blocked the umbrella'. Nope....the sky was so cloudy and dark, it just turned out this way. No photoshop, no colour block, just darn cool to begin with!!!

>>> Very nice here

An important meeting point ...

At Constitution Dock I found the following colourful display of red, yellow and blue: The traditional set of three primary colours.

Some people have asked how I color the water. It is just a few drops of liquid food coloring. Also, a commenter on one of my other shots pointed out to me that red, yellow and blue are no longer considered primary colors, I did not realize that but I'm not going to go back and rename all of these shots! : ) Maybe I'll start a new series called "The Real Primaries".

Strobist info: The lighting is a single SB-24, under the table that the glasses are on, facing the white background. The flash was set to 1/4 power.

And even some black and white to go with them.

Compositionally Challenged Week 11 - Rule of Odds

Ink level windows on my new printer. It's rather ODD that the color ink tanks didn't fill all the way to the top level....Canon, what's up with that? (although they were more full than this shows.) : )

Taken from Grizzly Peak in Berkeley, California. It was so clear that day that you could even see the Farallon Islands miles away from where we shot this photo.
