Taken from a bus, so no the best quality, but I like the colors.
Photo prise de l'autobus donc pas de la meilleure qualité, mais j'aimais les couleurs.
I captured this image a few days ago. I drove by this location a day before and scoped out the area I wanted to come back to photograph. It was an early adventure but worth the efforts to see this beautiful sunrise.
This is a three image Pano

The exhibition in the glasshouses at Kew is of orchids but the theme is Thailand. Not surprising therefore to see these beautiful parasols suspended from the roof.
Zaandam - Javazee.
Kleurrijk Zaandam. Onopvallende straatkast veranderd in een eyecatcher.
De Stijl, Dutch for "The Style", also known as Neoplasticism, was a Dutch art movement founded in 1917 in Leiden. De Stijl consisted of artists and architects. In a more narrow sense, the term De Stijl is used to refer to a body of work from 1917 to 1931 founded in the Netherlands.Proponents of De Stijl advocated pure abstraction and universality by a reduction to the essentials of form and colour; they simplified visual compositions to vertical and horizontal, using only black, white and primary colors (Wikipedia).
I'd posted a slightly different iPhone version of this photo on Instagram while I was traveling but love it so much I had to post this version, too.
Although retired, circumstance took me to an area that I might have been in, had it been a workday, so of course, I took my rig...

I was shooting the autumn colours in the forest in Chilliwack when I turned around and saw this. Unfortunately, we were just off the highway, so you can see houses and cars, but that's life. I don't know what the red in the field is, but we see a lot of it in the farms nearby. The yellow on the mountain amazed me - like the trees were lit up.
In this photo are the three colors that are the building blocks for all the colors we see. That's pretty amazing.
A colourful street scene in Pomeroy, Washington. I poked around this pretty little town while on my road trip to Yellowstone last summer.
I apologize for not being here for the last month but my new website has taken off incredibly and I have had to focus on it almost 24/7. We're hiring employees now to do some of the "grunt work" which will free me up to get back to my Flickr Friends!
Anyone you know that's in a 12 step program or SHOULD be...please send them to: www.intherooms.com ask them to say hi to MrClean. Thanks, Kenny P.

The common warthog (Phacochoerus africanus) is a wild member of the pig family (Suidae) found in grassland, savanna, and woodland in sub-Saharan Africa.
The common warthog is the only pig species that has adapted to grazing and savanna habitats. Its diet is omnivorous, composed of grasses, roots, berries and other fruits, bark, fungi, insects, eggs and carrion. During the wet seasons, warthogs graze on short perennial grasses. During the dry seasons, they subsist on bulbs, rhizomes, and nutritious roots.
Although they can dig their own burrows, they commonly occupy abandoned burrows of aardvarks and other animals. The common warthog reverses into burrows, with its head facing the opening and ready to burst out if necessary.
Although capable of fighting (males aggressively fight each other during mating season), the common warthog's primary defense is to flee by means of fast sprinting. The common warthog's main predators are humans, lions, leopards, cheetahs, crocodiles, wild dogs and hyenas.
Common warthogs are not territorial, but instead occupy a home range. Common warthogs live in groups called sounders. Females live in sounders with their young and with other females. Subadult males associate in bachelor groups, but live alone when they become adults. – Wikipedia
This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Primary Colors which are Blue, Red and Yellow. These are the core building blocks of color theory. Sparkles in Blue, Red cinnamon hearts and kisses of Yellow bokeh come together for a cheerful palette! HMMM!
