Pressing on with some more photos from September 2019, now moving on to the ones taken at the Whitley Bay show - one that I really enjoyed that year and also in 2018 - I think I will make a point of trying to go to it this year if nothing untoward gets in the way... I didn't realise until now that this Orion was a 1983 example, and therefore one of the very first examples, still with both reg plates from Lighthouse Garage of Fleetwood, where presumably it was bought as a used car. I have no idea when it was transformed into an Escort RS Turbo tribute, but it was certainly done thoroughly and makes for a very interesting car now as far as I'm concerned.
probably over 100kg we think. We dont normally do a pressing this early in the year but apples are a bit early
in the end we did actually have quite a few apples that had some sweetness.
The quantity and quality felt worthwhile in the end.
They were processed so that:
==> some was for cider
==> Some was for Cider that had added sugar and was for eventual conversion to cider vinegar (Advice from Bruce wheres_bruce ) we have never done this before
==> And some was for apple juice for immediate drinking.
We used the hard acidic windfall apples for the juice destined for cider vinegar.
We used a mix of apples including George Cave for the juice destined for cider
We used George Cave apples alone for the juice for drinking fresh.
we made roughly 75 L of juice
x2 30L barrels (one for cider for drinking, one for cider for eventually converting to vinegar.
3 demijohns for cider
a few bottles of juice for immediate drinking

Here is a shot taken on a Sunday morning that just followed a snow storm. The Park is such a great place to enjoy a sunny walk in the snow and I wanted to show how peaceful this place is. I thought that it could be interesting to show the contrast between the wildness of the bushes in the foreground and the style of the building in the background. No technical challenge here, except waiting for a clear shot without anyone on the bridge.

Voici une photo prise un dimanche matin, juste après une tempête de neige. Le parc est un très bel endroit pour se promener au soleil dans la neige et je voulais retranscrire cette ambiance de calme au milieu de la ville. Je trouvais intéressante l’idée de jouer sur le contraste entre les buissons au premier plan et les immeubles à l’arrière plan. Pas de défi technique ici, mis à part la longue attente pour avoir un cliché sans personne sur le pont!

Set my alarm to wake before dawn at 6.15am and waited, pressing my little compact against my window frame, point over my backyard fence.
It was so thin that just a few minutes later, it was invisible as the morning sky got brighter.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Pink and blue always catch my eye as a running theme for one of my albums but there was so much more here. AsSalam and Hello guys . This shot was taken at Jubakar Beach at Kelantan. This was my first time and lucky me got a superb burn sky. This place is a famous place with a boat and a reflection. Well, in this shot, i was careless because i shoot this on ISO 3200 . Horrible mistake. But I enjoy my new D700 :D

This image was taken in Maasai Mara (Kenya) I brought it in for a close up as I wanted to show his elegance, eye contact and interest in what I was up to. Such a regal and gorgeous creature that I was so privileged to be able to see in the wild and memorize.

Our Daily Challenge - Fruit (Best Explore positon #110)
I had another shot in mind for this challenge, well, two other shots actually. I bought all this fruit and now what...lol I'm becoming a sucker for action still lives. I know they're nothing new, but I'm working on a couple to make my own.
On another note, I have fruit, ideas, and idle time, so I'm sure I'll post some other additions to this challenge within the next couple days. AND, I promise I'll post the outtakes of the coffee as soon as I get a few seconds....

Considering the larger amount of parts in a common colour that were at my disposal, this guy could definitely have turned out better. The arms and torso in particular are pretty lame.
Ah well.
I came across this little grasshopper while walking along the edge of a saltmarsh at the coast. It had one rear leg missing, but obviously had adapted very well. A milli-second after pressing the shutter it did a spectacular leap from the twig it was sitting on and vanished from view....
