Elegant, in motion.

The randomness of shopping becomes presence.

Thank you to this adorable woman for crossing the frame.

We went hiking at Point Lobos, located on the California coast just south of Carmel-By-The-Sea. This state park has quite unique features. On the way you pass heavenly stairways made out of stones.

I processed a realistic, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Deep in the Florida woods, a weathered gravestone stands alone, half-swallowed by moss and shadow. It marks the resting place of John Moss Field, a volunteer who fought in the Indian War of 1835. But the silence around it feels too heavy, too deliberate. The stone’s inscription glows faintly in the filtered light, as if still calling out across centuries. The forest seems to lean in, listening. This black and white photograph captures more than history, it hints at a lingering presence, a soldier who never truly left.

I have realized that the past and future are real illusions, that

they exist in the presence, which is what there is and all there is.

Breathtaking front-lit portrait of a wonderful wall sculpture representing youthful Pharaoh Seti Ist wearing the 'uraeus' Wadjet. Because the goddess Wadjet was the right eye of Ra, her presence above the eyes of a pharaoh served as an animal third eye and indicated that Ra was always at the pharaoh's side.

Description: She gazes upon your presence while she contemplated on what to do next. Suddenly, a seductive smile would tug upon the woman's face. "Bonjour moi monsieur. I am Madam Rose at your service." She speaks with a thick French accent. A beautiful rose in sight but there was one question. Where do her thorns lay upon her?

It is fullmoon tonight.

Today was Red Admiral Day in my garden : four of them graced it with their lovely presence. I did countless captures, some of them technically good, others with a great pose of the Butterfly. However, this imperfect picture is my favourite of them all, perhaps because of the soft bokeh on the left or the look of the newly opened Buddleia flower. Who knows ? I hope you like it as much as I do :) /

Salkantay Mountain was in our vision for many long days of trekking. It was an experience of a lifetime that was remarkable physically, mentally and spiritually. The mountain kept us humble and grounded.

This enchanting snapshot brings to life the hidden beauty within a neighborhood's green space. A resplendent cluster of magenta crepe myrtle blossoms takes center stage, its vivid color popping against the soft-focus backdrop of community foliage. The flower's intricate, ruffled petals stand out in sharp detail, drawing the eye amidst the green tapestry of leaves and the sturdy presence of tree trunks in the background.

This image beautifully captures the essence of urban landscaping done right - where pockets of intense natural beauty are seamlessly integrated into shared community areas. It's a testament to how thoughtful planning can bring the magic of nature right to our doorsteps, creating serene retreats within the bustle of neighborhood life. The photograph serves as a reminder of the small yet impactful moments of beauty that residents can encounter in their daily lives, highlighting the value of preserving and nurturing green spaces in our urban environments.
