Introducing Caylen. She's going to be my Easter Bunny ;)
She is Souldoll Yeon-bee, on NL body, in NS. Default company make-up. I love Souldoll default make-ups and I can't help it... I'm going to change her eyes for different ones, but it's going to be a litlle bit difficult, because Yeon-bee's eyeholes are very asymmetric and shallow, so she'll need low dome, smaller-iris eyes. Looking for proper eyes in progress...
When Souldoll released Yeon-bee for the first time, I fell in love with her, but... when owners' photos appeared, I noticed how strangely asymmetric her eyes are and this made me resigning from buying her. But after few years this love returned and I'm no longer 'afraid' of her strange eyes. Souldoll dolls have always been asymmentric and they will always be, I think. If you don't accept it, then do not buy. Simple :)
Yeon-bee is not my first Souldoll doll. I owned Souldoll Janne and Shiva and also Miribyeol but none of them stayed with me 'forever'... Maybe they were molds 'not for me'. My love for Souldolls has bloomed again, and I'm planning to get more of them :) More details soon ^^
No Caylen's arrival photos, because I was so curious of how she looks in reality so that I quickly ripped the papers, opened the box and released her from bubble wrap ^^;

Our art collective, Pataphysical Studios, is presenting an exhibit on the “Pataphysics of Dada” at the Canessa Gallery in San Francisco, on November 3-12, 2016. It is part of the Dada World Fair, organized by City Lights to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Dada art movement.
We also hosted a few special events along with this exhibit. On November 5th, we presented “Pata Dada Ha Ha!”, an evening of art, theater, music and poetry, with a wondrous array of special guests. So many people came that night that we ended up hosting two half-hour shows, at 6:30 and 7:30pm.
This photo set covers both shows, as well as exhibit hours on Saturday, November 5, 4-8pm -- including “Ubu’s Dreams”, a shadow puppet show performed by Drs. Zboon, Fabio and Mechano.
Our half-hour presentation was hosted by Dr. Zboon, and featured these artists:
• Mary March (DadaDeck of Cards)
• Allison Lovejoy (Accordion)
• Deborah Sciales (Fashion Statements)
• Erik Davis (PataDad Rap)
• Drs. Figurine and Canard (Theremin + Didgeridoo)
• Ernesto Sanchez (Mask Dance)
• Ubu’s Dreams (Shadow Puppet Show)
• Beth Custer (Clarinet)
• Stephen Kent (Didgeridoo)
Between shows, we greeted our guests with a shot of absinthe -- and introduced as a new collection of patadada paintings, sculptures and mobiles. We also invited them to sit down and interact with the Pataphysical Slot Machine, our poetic oracle.
We’re very grateful to our gracious hosts Dr. Zack and Prof. Peet for inviting us to present our work in this very special space.
Photos in this set were taken by Fabrice Florin with Janey Fritsche, Edward Janne and some of our guests. Merci.
Vive la ‘pataphysique!
