Home staging is about illusions. It's how David Copperfield would sell a house. It's beyond decorating and cleaning. It's about perfecting the art of creating moods. Staging makes your house look bigger, brighter, cleaner, warmer, more loving and, best of all, it makes home buyers want to buy it.
Contrary to what you might think, it's about more than preparing the house for sale. Staging is what you do after you've cleaned, decluttered, painted, made minor repairs; it's all about dressing the house for sale.
It's about adding the small details: the lipstick, mascara and, for simplicity, a stunning, single strand of Tahitian pearls.

im in my studio getting the panels prepared for the next body of work.
all panels are constructed here in the studio. I go to the lumberyard and hand select the birch sheets. I get the best grade available and look for moisture damage. Then the sheet is delivered to the studio where i mark it, cut it with the aid of a husband and a table saw, then cut the strapping. It generally takes me about a week to prepare the panels for a given body of work.
Im very excited about the upcoming show. I want the boards to be as close to perfect as possible.

Their skirts are hand woven and colors are specific to their particular tribe.
Each side panel can either be made and attached as 2 large pieces, or 1 very large piece. I chose to place them as each 1 very large piece, and it turned out well. Here I'm pre-glassing the inside surface of the panels.
