My cat found herself a new perch today, sitting on top of my 4 foot tall speaker, peering out the window to the harbour below.
This girl is my best friend, yet I don't take nearly enough pictures of her. My new 50mm f/1.4D lens makes it so much easier to avoid using flash, which plays havok with her tabby markings. (Zoom in to the see the amazing detail in her fur and eye.)
We're heading to the V-E-T on Saturday, so wish us luck.

The MQ-1 Predator is a medium-altitude, long-endurace, unmanned aircraft system whose primary mission is interdiction and armed reconnaissance against critical and often transitory targets.
Here are the Predator busts without the masks (for the left two) Predator in the middle, Predator 2 on the the right, and AVP on the left... The Predator 2 bust didn't come with a mask because his mandibles are open....
Mother tiger. She kept a good eye on her offsprings (There was two, I just didn't manage to capture both in one shot).
The final home game for the Orlando Predators and the final sporting event at the Amway Arena. Orlando beat the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz 49-21 to clinch a playoff spot.

Took this using 2 small red LEDs. Didn't set up any actual lighting, diffusers, etc. Just some natural room lighting and LEDs for spots. Had the figure and the backdrop in my lightbox.
Note: I decided to go ahead and post this (even though the face is oof) because I wanted to show the make-up work. I was talking to her partner and the dude was telling me that they had just completed the cosplay the night before so I want to showcase their hard work.
