So here goes my story... I am not really a practicing Catholic, because I always say that I have prayed all the prayers in my life with the 8 years that I have stayed in a Catholic school. But still, I do pray but not like as I did before.
Now, I am praying for something really really hard, and after a Thursday early morning mass, I passed by the door near the church exit and saw the Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I got one copy and now, I am sharing this to you. I never prayed for something with having a novena prayer to follow. Now, I am doing this because I really need an answered prayer. Maybe you can use it too... I am using the internet as a tool to spread this prayer...
ps: when they say you say something repeatedly and then naturally you will say it like whispering it from your heart, it will eventually come true. because if you really put it in your heart... it will really happen. God does work in Mysterious Ways.
and by the way, you are the 8th batch. the 8th group in my list. please do pray that my prayer be answered too...
Novena Prayer must be said 6 times each day for 9 consecutive days leaving 9 copies in the church each day. Make 81 copies and leave 9 copies in church for consecutive 9 days. You will receive your intention before nine days are over, no matter how impossible it may seem. Pray with love and faith. Prayer will be answered on or before the 9th day and has never known to fail.

ODC - "folded"
This is the first thing that came to mind. Me and my folded hands in prayer. (Please know that I know this is not the best portrait - shadows but I got my point across and the hands are the main focus) I always go to bed at night and each night when I say my prayers, my prayer list is so long that I usually end up falling asleep because my list is so long. I always pray for everyone else and I have so many people who I know that are in need of things. I have everything I need. I have the air I breathe, the love I have, the blood in my body, my human self, a lot of wonderful friends and family and many more things people take for granted. I always put those people who need things like this first and always put myself last. "My wish for you, is that life becomes all that you want it to..." - Rascal Flatts MY WISH Goodnight everyone!

We were delighted to have Barbara D. quilting as she has missed several meetings during cancer treatments. Anne (not shown) donated the "Quilt Diva" fabric, Dixie did the binding, JR donated the butterfly backing (for renewal!) and put the prayer shawl together. I quilted it. I was delighted to see that she wore it all during the meeting. We hope it brings comfort.

Tibetian prayer flags sway in the wind sending "Om mani padme hum" across the Tibetian plateau. Literally the mantra means 'hail the jewel of the lotus'. It is a common Tibetian blessing of peace and compassion to all sentient beings.

Day 165 of 365: "Prayer Drive"
Another "Follow Your Nose" moment.
I needed to send Sara a text and also needed to put a new address in the GPS. So while sitting at a t-intersection, instead of turning, or sitting there blocking the intersection, I pulled straight across into the church parking lot. I pulled a u-turn, did what I needed to do, pulled up to the road, looked left and bang...there was the sign.
I'm still laughing at the message, 12 hours later.
