Some of my friends asked me why I never post any photo's of myself. I hate my photo being taken but... here it is. :-(
I just got off of work and I am ready for the week-end !!

Today wasn't all that eventful, power was out for most of it due to some storms frying the nearby power transformers and the lightning didn't want to cooperate for my photos so I tried practicing my panning. It's quite hard to do!
This was probably my best one of the day. I think I need a bit more practice, given that it's going to be raining for the next few days I might just get some. :)

The kidlet is heading off to kindergarten this year - my first opportunity to pack lunches regularly. I'm new to bento, so I am practicing this summer to see what he likes in them, how to pack them well, using my tools, how they hold up after several hours, etc!
PB & J rolled up sandwich, rainier cherries, celery and carrots, ranch dip, sugar free tapioca pudding and a marzipan pig.
What I learned: I clearly have a lot to learn about making bento, and photographing them ;)
Made for my Mom, who for some reason really likes it even though I didn't iron it or anything before I gave it to her.
