This is another one from my mocpages account. A new Saums design that uses the very well, sturdy, and reliable BrickFA

technique. More pics including a DARK SAMUS and a PED SUIT SAMUS at: www.mocpages.com/moc.php/74733

I lost the powersuit as the Dreadnought exploded in the most beautiful plume of flame I've ever seen. It was a joyous moment to see it burn, and Octan's hopes of taking down NATE - who, as the Octan employee had told me, was actually inhibiting Octan's evil - go up in smoke.

So now I'm running. Running for my life. The Dreadnought had some seriously large gasoline tanks in it; the massive room has collapsed and now the rest of the complex is going down with it. So I'm running, with the gasoline flames constantly licking at my back as they chase me down corridor after corridor.

However, at one corridor, I feel a sharp pain in the back of my neck, and collapse to the floor. The flames continue to move forward. I swear, and try to pick myself up again, but there's a numbing pain in my neck that seems to send shocks through my body and I cannot get up. From the floor, with the metal grilles almost melting from the heat of the fires just a few metres up the corridor, I hear footsteps.

Out of the flames comes a man. He's set in silhouette by the flickering flames behind him. I notice an Octan logo on his burnt clothes which are sticking to his scolded skin. I notice a console in his hand. He presses a button on it, his movements shimmering in the haze of the heat. My neck stings like hell and I fall further to the floor.

"You seriously thought you'd get away?" He says, laughing.

Just a quick chapter this time, guys, this time Sotrybuilder kinda crept up on me. Anyways, enjoy, and I hope you understand what's going on - I didn't want to explain everything in the story, but PLEASE make sure you know what this is about before you write your next bit. Just to be sure :)

DAY 22: KR-8 Powersuit

Russian powersuit from World War 3.

'Nuff said.

I have made the Vikings brick-built (hardsuits) because in the film they are featured to be large and muscular from the viking teens.

That way I can keep the viking teens at minifig scale to match the dragons.

These Hardsuit Vikings are brick tough, and ready for a fight!

Named for its low survival rate, Coffins are lightly armed and armored powersuits fielded by Corvids. Coffins have high speed and maneuverability, making them excellent for ambushes and hit-and-run tactics.

Reference images and other info for the Coffin can be found in the Brigador wiki.

I retook the pictures of my variant of Zeessi's powersuit. This time I went outside cause thankfully it's nice and hot out and I used the camera from my school. I also made a new gun for Ironsniper.

Sorry that its white one white but I was to lazy to get blue or something.

I should probably get a bit closer to the object next time. >.>

Based on the Sewer Rats by -Taylor- my son Sandro built this variation.

Together we modelled it with MLCad today. Afterwards I did the render

and made the instructions with LPub.

This little guy is what started out as an attempt at a hardsuit using Zeessi's (Get it? Z-33551?) Powersuit frame as a base. However, it got a robot head, not a human one. Thus, my mech.

Playing around with the flash. I thought it looked pretty neat.

Roll out!

Based on Zessi's frame

I built this when Zeessi first posted his power suit frame. I just had to use a backwards helmet for mine. The counter part to this, and this.

I am gonna replicate this phone wallpaper in a bigger scale so I can add more detail, as the focus will be the Powersuit. I will make a few others like this, for example, a vault 111 door.

Lizzy: greetings, fellow travelers. this is Liz of the Institute again. I'm speaking to you from the previous Ghoul settlement known as "the Slog". they used to grow tarberries in the old pool here, but the fresh ones have been moved to a wading pool. if you're around the mid-East Commonwealth, we have finished construction here. please stop by!

i wanted a lime green one..still counts as powerminer powersuit

Built for the highest ranking military specialists these powersuits can take soldiers through loads of gunfire, rouph terrain, and are fire retardant for up to 2 minutes

Palm trees, some landscaping, and a guardhouse with some rare and pretty colors.

My mission was simple : infiltrate the deepest depths of their organisation, identify their key members, then eliminate them without mercy.

Entry into Galactic Handling and Logistics was laughably easy. No background identity checks, no need for referees, no blood or DNA samples required. In exchange for an hourly wage, modest lodgings and three hot meals a day. Surely these were privileges that only royalty enjoyed...and those pillows...oh so comfy.

No. I would not be swayed from my mission. I had to stay FOCUSED.

But, as I toiled in my alloted task...even if I could call it that, for what they passed off here as work would have been merely considered stretching exercises back at the dojo. Ubiquitous labour saving devices having replaced human toil. This 'powersuit' which I was issued had the strength of a thousand horses...but I was careful not to betray my feelings or attract suspicion. Blending in seemlessly, I took my time carrying out the day to day tasks, pretending to complain, intentionally making mistakes, engaging in idle chit chat.

Behaviour like that would have been punishable by death in my previous life. These were not the ways of the ninja...

Days passed, I was frustrated by their politics, their 'bureaucracy', there seemed to be an incredible amount of 'managers'. While they seemed to have been bestowed a managerial title, most did not posses any real ability, responsibility or respect. It was clear that I could not eliminate all these 'middle-managers', as they were refered as. There were too many, also there seemed to be no shortage of replacements.

All that changed on that fateful day. I heard of news that my clan had been destroyed. Poor investments in the real estate sector had reduced our savings and pension plans to little more than scrap paper. Our mightly clan, which had survived the Great Wars was destroyed by the greatest evil of them all : cash flow.

If I had any tear ducts, I would have wept.

So now I am torn. Do I still carry out my duties? Do I live out my existence in the role which I have adopted in disguise, but have grown to...enjoy? I do not know.

What I do know is that these boxes over there need stacking. And the boys always enjoy watching me use my Heaven Cloud Fist finishing move superior hand-eye co-ordination with the grappling hook. It amuses me as much as it does them.

... to a whole new level. A brutal awakening to the power of the Empire.

Indestructible,

Determination that is incorruptible,

From the other side, a terror to behold,

Annihilation will be unavoidable,

Every broken enemy will know

That their opponent had to be invincible,

Take a last look around while you're alive,

I'm an indestructible, MASTER OF WARRR!!

Also, there's been a few changes made to BrickStory.com. Might want to check it out here.

I really like seeing closeups from other people, and these pictures seem to get a lot of hits, so I might go with a few of these for a bit, if I have them.

This busy guy is a 19th century Steam style utility power suit.

At the time I built this, I wanted to switch up to something far more textural than my Domokun mech and build as much of the form as I could with smaller components. He has posable arms and legs, and a compact driver’s compartment. To that end, I was interested in seeing how small I could build the bot and still be able to fit a pilot inside. I was also experimenting with less conventional approaches to joints which worked well on this design. The classic light and dark gray definitely lend to the “antique” feel when paired with tan and sand green tones.

Chubbybots and IGU.'s creations inspired me to get one of those Nexo Knight powersuits and build a MOC from them. I really liked the torso pieces for them and I wish they will be released in black in the future for a Dollie, but for a change I decided to build something different and went for a mech for the lovely Dukelin.

Honestly it went for a very different way but I love the result I got. =D

Lightweight, highly mobile, and nearly silent, the Juke is the ideal powersuit for when stealth is required. By the time you can hear the telltale hiss of a Juke's 8MW irradiator, it is likely too late.

More info on the Juke can be found on the Brigador wiki.

A single large mech.

A more intensive refit of the Heckler hybrid mechsuit, this Retrotech variant foregoes hands altogether and removes the 'head' eye sensor in exchange for a bit more built in weaponry (a pair of chainguns plus light Gauss Cannon) and an open clear-view canopy for the cockpit.

Also equipped with Ion thrusters on the back for maneuverability in hostile low-gravity environments.

While not as efficient as normal versions in non-combat utility roles, this variant serves as a fast and evasive skirmisher when expeditionary conflict situations escalate.

So, in between The Avengers and Iron Man III, Tony Stark's armor goes from Version 6 to Version 42.

Intruiging...

A new and improved version of my Sledger powersuit that I built a while ago. It now properly fits a minifig inside, but still has the excessive weight issues of the original, unfortunately.

Compared to my original attempt, this version of the Sledger is based off of the player variant, and is armed with a 30mm König gatling autocannon. The Sledger is arguably the most excessive powersuit in all of Brigador, and it remains one of my personal favorite mech designs of all time.

As always, reference images and other info for the Sledger can be found in the Brigador wiki.

Don't you dare tell on me. I don't care if smoking's not allowed in the office. If you want to keep your job in this economy... :)

My first (and probably only) avatar for pmg. Heavily inspired by Master Chief and his coolness.

I'm thinking about doing a scene with him in a PA situation. What do you think should be the opposition? Zombies? Machines? Aliens?

Please comment. I spent all day working on this guy!

Codenamed "Оранжевый кобры," or Orange Cobra, the Mk. 7 Marauder was a heavy weapons mobility platform developed by both Soviet and Japanese engineers. The Soviet Union's negotiation of a Sino-Russo Alliance prior to World War II forestalled any possibility of conflict between the early Soviet Union and the Japanese Empire. Fast forward half a century and the combined technological mastery of both powers results in the development of heavily armored mechanical suits.

The Marauder is equipped with a chain-fed 30mm autocannon, two HK-67 "Cougar" anti-armor missiles, and a Hellbore Plasma Cannon. Both cannons are hand carried, allowing for a versatility in operational capabilities. Especially important to the capability of the Marauder is its innovative Dual Pumped-Fusion Reactors, which provide the necessary energy for suit movement and weapons. Using special tubes, energy and plasma are conducted to the Hellbore Plasma Cannon.

I haven't been a regular poster of my work on Flickr, but I'd like to change that so here is something to start it all off. Comments and criticism welcome.

Wow--it used to be once a week would be pretty good, but now I missed two days in a row & feel like I'm slacking. I still have some pictures to peel off, but I got tired and had other things to do. I enjoyed this set and while I'm not into this side of the power trip, I like the whole secretary/boss thing and wanted an unusual three piece suit. I was surprised how things worked together.

$180-$200 or so(sometimes you have to splurge--I just loved the buttons) with vest underneath $30 at MetroStyle. It's a skirtsuit of course as I hope to show in later photo sets.

Prince Rigel of Mars and his Royal guards, based of Ironsnipers Martain powersuit design, I have been a fan of the LOM theme since it came out and I couldnt resist trying his design out even if I have tweeked it.

Turns out you can laser-etch photos onto wood...

MUAHAHAHAHA!

I don't normally upload random tid-bits like this, but I want to test the waters a bit (that and the last time I made a cart on Brickarms, it was erased).

This is my order-in-progress from the wonderful folks over at www.brickarms.com/. I had to cut several items from my order to keep my $30 budget (such as the new Energy Pistols, Claymore, and Vampir to name a few), but I am rather content with my order.

For those of you who say "Hey! Aren't you a purist!?!" I have been considering ordering from Brickarms/Brickforge/Amazing Armory/Little Armory Toys for some time now, and now that I have a steady minimum wage job, I can afford a splurge every so often (such as finally buying set 5981).

Anywho, I have several things lined up to be shot at the moment (another Powersuit variant, and a dabble or two into a few new genres), and once I get a breather in my very hectic life I'll take a photo or four. ;)
