Went with the power suit this time and I love it! Thanks Amy for the picture!

(AKA the "Iron Sniper" Powersuit)
Made this guy the first day I saw Ironsniper's design, and haven't been able to upload it till now. Backdrop heavily inspired by Lord Dane. Tell me what you think.
The theme for “Looking Close on Friday” for the 22nd of October is “dots and stripes”. In recent months, I have been exploring a new avenue in my creativity, that of portraiture photography. I used my sitter for the “Smile on Saturday” theme of “nose” a little over a month ago. My elusive sitter has agreed to return, showing off one of his financial power outfits: a smart pinstripe suit and blue pinstripe shirt, both from London, and a spotted tie from Paris. He is even wearing a lapel pin of gold featuring pearls and sapphires, adding to the dotty portion of the theme. These things have been largely mothballed owing to the Coronavirus pandemic, so my model enjoyed having an excuse to get dressed up for me. I do hope that you like my choice for the theme, and that it makes you smile.
This is one of the many many variants of my recent power armor. I want to do a compilation shot of maybe 10 variants, but my brain hit the wall due to events in "The Real World" and I give you this instead. Inspired by Shadow Viking's comment on my last variant, Lord Dane, Becheman, and the Juggernaut from CoD: MW2. (just trying to figure out a use for the fugly Rebel helmet)

Revamp of a very old toa character who was on my self-moc's toa team. I choose not to put a link to the original. :P
This is one of my favorite builds though. Everything came together well imo.
Kind of experimenting with color blocking, but my severe lack of decent white ccbs pieces made that hard. Original idea was that the black is a sort of powersuit, then the white is his normal armor/skin. Only really worked for the head and lower arm tho.
Thanks for looking! Expect more soon. :D
Able to withstand the forces of nature and the assaults of man, the Mark III is essential to the success of any modern army. This suit equips the user with 3X the jumping capability of a regular man, and several times the strength. The armor can take huge amounts of punishment and is able to deal just as much out.
I've been working on this on and off for the past 11 months, so this is the final product.
I've not been active at all due to XC, school, and just a lot of transitions in life.
I wish that I could say with honesty that I would be more involved, but at this time in my life it's not possible.
Anyways though, hope that you guys like it!
God bless!
This is the basic frame of my recent Hardsuits, and a tutorial of how it is constructed.
The grey bricks are what I consider to be the structure, and are the parts not really subject to change. The black bricks are pieces that are subject to change. Everything else not shown is purely aesthetic, and you can go to town with them.
The upper body consists of a Travis Brick, basically any plate or modified plate piece (for the shoulder), a jumper plate for the waist, and a modified plate with handles for the hips.
The legs consist of a vertical clip tile, and whatever combination of pieces that amount to 5 studs high.
I have found that the arm technique (consisting of a hand piece shoved into the hip of the leg piece, with a claw shoved up into the bottom of the foot, then the hand piece connecting into the back of a headlight brick) is the most compact and flexible arm design, but feel free to experiment with the arms.
See the following photos for visual reference.
Group shot!
The end of october 2020 is nearing and so we leave these guys with a teamup shot to conclude Simon's #mechtober
The start of a new wave of Raptors, as there's still lots to explore, so stay tuned for more!
YO DAWG I HEARD YOU LIKE SUITS SO WE PUT A SUIT IN YO SUIT SO YOU CAN STOMP WHILE YOU STOMP
Inspired by pyrefyre's Hardsuit Suit.
These suits were build during the last year. The red one was the first, followed by the green. Last I built the orange one to fit the jetpack I already had.
Blood Angels Terminator Captain, Ares Kaldzaart from Baal of 13th legion, is called to face the most brutal missions: confronting enemy elites, hitting powerful warlords, or hunting giant monsters.
Equipped with Iron Halo, blessed power hammer and autocannons on reinforced forearms with his high profile and great combat experience is defined as a god of war!
He fight with loyalty and honor, determined with the warcry "For the Emperor and Sanguinius! Death! DEATH!"
Finally I managed to build my first WH40K character in real bricks, starting from the ldd model.
On a proper base it is quite posable and is proportioned as the size of a primarch (much higher than a human)
I would like to thanks Garry_rocks that ispired me to build such a model!
These two are the next members in my series of powersuits I started in 2016. I used some more advanced building techniques for those two.
Here it is my new WH40K character, the Veteran Champion!
I was inspired by the funnystuffs's models for this new character.
I rebuilt the greaves and feet, taking example from flic.kr/p/MTnbeN. The difference between previous models is that it stands on his feet, without a base.
He carries a small dagger on his side in addition to power sword, and wears ornaments like purity seal, scroll and iron halo.
Furthermore my Veteran Champion is set more dynamically so I'm satisfied because it is always challenging to built in the right pose.
In this picture I added gun fire in post production, hope you enjoy!
Now we're going civilian mode! I intend to do small scenes or vigs for each of these (and more). Firefighter group is got special attention and will be featured next!

Hi everyone, i propose again this fateful duel inspired from the universe of WH40K.
My previous version didn\'t satisfy me completely because the characters were too static, in melee combat and you were not able to notice detail quite well...
Moreover, enderkaiser has pointed out to me that the armor of Ezekyle Abaddon did not match pre heresy period. So I decided to rebuild completely the scene, creating a wider and irregular base, full of debris and rubble, more like a battlefield.
Characters are now more dynamic and it seems that Abaddon attacks with a stroke of the sword his opponent! The other character, who I modified by adding a dark red cloak, even if it isn\'t the right color (and is wearing a black helmet), could remember his opponent Garviel Loken.
This time I took inspiration directly from the miniatures of the Horus Heresy (Forge World), looking at this www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-IT/Abaddon-and-Loken.
Finally some greenskin character from Wh40k universe!
That's an Ork Warlord in mek suit equipped only with brutal melee weapons.
I set yellow as main color (with a bit of rust) remembering Bad Moons Klan.
So he's ready to slash. Waaagh!!!
Next unit in the 'Raptor' line-up is a powersuit developed for your intergalactic tequila needs. "Lifting spirits across the galaxies".
Equipped with two large tanks of the good stuff, these motorized bi-ped servants can be seen at any relevant party. The handy wrist-dispenser provides the necessary salts and limes to accompany the liquor.
This Tequilatron Raptor is painted and coated in a classic Tequilatron livery.

Left to Right:
Silence: Added cuffs and a different torso.
Blitz: New hair and head.
Dragonfly: The Dragonfly powersuit in armored mode.
So, I'd love to hear you guy's opinions! I'm kinda meh about Blitz's updated, but the others I'm pretty happy with!
High-tech suit of armor that Krana control telepathically. Each one can tap into the krana's mask power and amplify it exponentially. Forearm design belongs to Ids5621, who used it on his self moc.
Some years ago when i started to build my first WH40k models i had posted a rendered squad of five space marine.
I always wanted to build a team with real bricks and now the time has come!
Here is my new team of six Terminators, including veteran Lord, Lieutenant Captain, Chaplain, Berserker and heavy weapon supports.
Soon i'll post more detailed pics for each character of team.
Im posting this just to let u know guys that im not dead (yet). I have also finished BIG rework of Axel and im working on Naro´s powersuit as well. SO STAY TUNED! :D
My last creation about Warhammer 40k universe: a duel between Centurion vs Ork warboss on a base with gothic ruins. I changed something on characters like melee weapon, shield, servo-skull and headgear on centurion and added shoulder cannon on ork.
Inspiration comes from golden demon's duel category small dioramas!
Finally, instructions for Centurion are ready now! Project is mine, instructions are made by Simone Bissi:
The features are:
- Pdf booklet in Lego style
- parts list
- files for bricklink and rebrickable for an easy search for all the bricks.

Last in this run of Raptors: The Overseer model.
Higher, chunkier, faster and more battery-efficient than the regular model. Most commonly acquired to oversee factory operations, assembly lines, machinerooms etc. Its squared cockpit makes it stand out against its round counterparts.
I hope you all liked this series!

My second character from WH40K is the Terminator Librarian Beleg Draugluin from Fenris. Scrolls and seals around the armour shows his role of Rune Priest.
Master of the esoteric arts, the Rune Priest is warrior mystics who unleash the power of the Warp onto the 41st Millennium's battlefields.
With crackling bolts of lightning and storms of telekinetic force, he smite the enemies of the Imperium, serving Space Wolves as both peerless loremaster and masterful battle leader.
He is wearing a Psychic Hood to enhance his psychic strength and protect him from the psychic abilities of the foe.
Mount a storm bolter on the vambrace and held Thunder Hammer to slash away enemies.
This is the real model of my LDD project www.flickr.com/photos/faber_mandragore/38429506871/in/alb...
I hope you enjoy!
Here's where the Raptor gets utilitarian. Big crane on the back and you're good for all your major lifting duties on the construction site. Bigger feet for better stabilization. Protective casing on the back. Bright orange color for that constructionworks feel. Kids dig the playablity too!

Next Raptor appeared during SHIPtember 2016. See it at work here, here, here and here.
It was part of the Parakeet ECM Cruiser as a logistics powersuit. Small and efficient, it was neatly stored in the back of the cargo hold. It's basically where this little guy formed the base of this series, the MK1 if you will. It's pretty basic and clean, without any additions to the vanilla schematics, just the appropriate color layout and civilian or 'system' glass dome.

I renewed my previous moc www.flickr.com/photos/141847184@N06/35065117634/in/album-..., putting the captain into a victorious pose on pedestal, after the battle, while holds its huge war hammer.
Also the colors are modified and remind the Legion of Imperial Fists
One day I saw in a new Lego ninjago set a small scroll.
It was a blast!
I thought: why not put it in a WH40K Librarian?
I redesigned the arms to get a better proportion with shoulders and torso, I added the right weapons, and here is my version of Grey Knights Librarian with scrolls and ornament that adorn the armor.
It adds to the collection of WH40k characters, enjoy it.
Tired of these yet? Next up is a good ol' classic.. 'out of the cold' from Lego's Ice Planet 2002 theme.
This one features a pulse antenna, icy backpack, double chainsaw, radar screen and of course.. the ski's.
The domeless design was totally intended.. Hey @Lego, where's that neon orange cockpit dome!?
