In this shot, you can see that pearl like "cat's eyes" buttons were used for his dress shirt. They were heavy to sew on, in comparison to cheap plastic buttons. The buttons on his jacket are made from glass and are charcoal grey and black.

The basic frame has a standard minigun as well as high-dexterity grippers.

Those powerful legs brace as the grenade cannon fires.

The right shoulder sports a floodlight as well as a blue and red emergency dome.

Four thrusters on the back give it high speed and tight turning ability.

Show: POWER ART.

Show Dates: March 1-31, 2013.

Opening Reception: Friday, March 1 from 7-10pm.

Curator: Barb Boatman.

This juried show features art that has powerful meaning to each artist—revealing familiar things in new ways, evoking emotions, and making statements. View artwork created from non-traditional materials or conventional materials used in new ways.

The exhibit also features 50 pieces from the "Power Suits" collection—original art quilts currently on tour nationally. A unique show within a show.

Original PowerSuit Designs created during June 2014 Michigan State Art Residencies: Have Company (Grand Rapids), Hinely-Soliman Residency (Yipsilanti)
