Red-tail? hawk on the hunt. A little tweak for effect (lens isn't long enough to capture the feathers). My Flickr friends can correct me on the species. This one shot in the Central Colorado Rockies. Zoomed, cropped, and some blur applied.

got this mobile phone this afternoon after i decided to retire my battered motorola clamshell. played around with several shots before i realized that i'm not any good at photography. and that was the time i became aware of the real purpose of adobe photoshop...
I've been looking at lomography lately. I do really enjoy the aesthetics and I'd like to get back into it but I'm not sure if I'm willing to commit to film now.

Hey all -- as I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm not a big post-processor. But I decided to experiment -- honest opinions here, how did I do? Left is after and right is before.
Not the best due to unlit however the boggies are just a sight to see in person...along with the noise as the giant lumbers off the departure turn!

The city's attraction include the aforementioned Cerro de Siete Colores and the town handicraft market. It also server as a starting point for treks such as the Paseo de los Colorados and Purmamarca River, and tours to Salinas Grandes, the Huachichocana archaeological site and the Laguna de Guayatayoc with its pink flamencos and wild goose.

I did not used to like to do post processing, but now I suddenly got "all into it" - and having fun. A creation out of a creation.
Photoshop excerise- crop,blur,shadows,saturation and stuff.

The orig photo is "Art comes to life" which you can also find in my
stream. Tried some pp techniques and the final art work looks like a
cd cover so i added a title "the look of love" which was Diana kralls album. To make the image interesting. It would be hillarious if i put "Bukas Luluhod ang mga Tala" as its title. hehehe
I frequently stop off at this vintage junked cars yard and take photos through the chain link and over the razor wire defenses. The old paint and rust do well with HDR techniques.
'Em stairs are all manaul! There were so many places people took shelter from the heat, all the while enjoying the show.
