Red-tail? hawk on the hunt. A little tweak for effect (lens isn't long enough to capture the feathers). My Flickr friends can correct me on the species. This one shot in the Central Colorado Rockies. Zoomed, cropped, and some blur applied.
Took this shot of Sugar Bush Road on the way into the cabin.
5 exposures merged to HDR using Photomatix 3.0
got this mobile phone this afternoon after i decided to retire my battered motorola clamshell. played around with several shots before i realized that i'm not any good at photography. and that was the time i became aware of the real purpose of adobe photoshop...
I've been looking at lomography lately. I do really enjoy the aesthetics and I'd like to get back into it but I'm not sure if I'm willing to commit to film now.

Hey all -- as I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm not a big post-processor. But I decided to experiment -- honest opinions here, how did I do? Left is after and right is before.
I postprocessed these images 3 times over. I'm not sure this is the result I want, but I'm tired of trying to get that ultimate look.
This is 3x blue! What do you think ?
Not the best due to unlit however the boggies are just a sight to see in person...along with the noise as the giant lumbers off the departure turn!
The ducks were rather feisty on this particular day, chasing each other around the pond and flying around the perimeter before crashing down in the water. I attempted to pan for a few that landed near me, but it was too difficult to ensure that the duck itself remained in focus. The reason for that was because the speed of the duck's movement was not constant once it hit the water - it decelerated very quickly, and in a manner that I couldn't predict very well.
Thus, I came away with no panned duck landings. However, I was able to get this one, right as the duck's toes are about to touch the water. While the duck is a bit blurred, the clarity of its right wing is striking and beautiful.
Shot with an Olympus E-520, Zuiko Digital 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 @ 300mm and f/7.1, with a Hoya UV filter and lens hood equipped. Hand-held, with IS mode 1 enabled. This image was subjected to slight cropping, and the maximum resolution was then further scaled down to 1600x1200. This is a camera RAW that has been put through the following processing: contrast was heavily decreased; the exposure was increased moderately; the image was sharpened heavily.

I did not used to like to do post processing, but now I suddenly got "all into it" - and having fun. A creation out of a creation.
Photoshop excerise- crop,blur,shadows,saturation and stuff.
Galing tlga ng photoshop...
The orig photo is "Art comes to life" which you can also find in my
stream. Tried some pp techniques and the final art work looks like a
cd cover so i added a title "the look of love" which was Diana kralls album. To make the image interesting. It would be hillarious if i put "Bukas Luluhod ang mga Tala" as its title. hehehe
I frequently stop off at this vintage junked cars yard and take photos through the chain link and over the razor wire defenses. The old paint and rust do well with HDR techniques.
