YSSY SYDNEY KINGSFORD SMITH

An old photo of mine I stumbled upon while browsing my images folder. Either under or over exposed, but at the time not deemed 'worthy'. Revived in sepia to hide infinite sins.

2009 - Folientechnik - no postprocessing

Slagruiteg awoke in an instant of his being approached. The tourists had barely a blink of a weary eye to abruptly change their plans and make haste back to the village. Shangrila would have to wait for another day...

Slagruiteg's laughter could be heard for many a mile and the little hairs on the backs of the heavily burdened hiker's necks would not relax for the duration of the retreat from the rainforest.

It's a tough world out there... kill or be killed...

Whether you like it or not... this world is for winners...

Sadly it doesn't care much for losers...

Perhaps a bit dark of an idea, but one of those things you think about when looking into these places. "What if"

In the middle of nowhere, where the world ends, there's Nordrygge. Nothing more than a few houses on a road, but breathtaking views!

is a village and municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The main island in the municipality is Andøya

Vesterålen is a district and archipelago in Nordland county, Norway. It is located just north of the Lofoten district and archipelago and west of the city of Harstad. It is the northernmost part of Nordland county and lies within the Arctic Circle (one of the five major circles of latitude that mark maps of the Earth). In 2012, it is the parallel of latitude that runs 66° 33′ 44″ (or 66.5622°) north of the Equator.

I just really liked the way the effect looked on yesterday's shot.

A surrealist image of a computer keyboard, that I created for a photographic contest.

Red-tail? hawk on the hunt. A little tweak for effect (lens isn't long enough to capture the feathers). My Flickr friends can correct me on the species. This one shot in the Central Colorado Rockies. Zoomed, cropped, and some blur applied.

Took this shot of Sugar Bush Road on the way into the cabin.

got this mobile phone this afternoon after i decided to retire my battered motorola clamshell. played around with several shots before i realized that i'm not any good at photography. and that was the time i became aware of the real purpose of adobe photoshop...

I've been looking at lomography lately. I do really enjoy the aesthetics and I'd like to get back into it but I'm not sure if I'm willing to commit to film now.

That 'select contiguous regions' wand is a handy thing...

Just trying my hand at curving each of the available channels.
