i'll see you somewhere around the world.
whether that would be in watching the pyramids of Egypt.
or running and being kids again playing in a Disneyland wherever.
or back home.
under the southern sunshine.
where we'd be having 2 packs of cigar while filling the night with memories, plans and smoke.
i miss you already.
even when i know that i'd be seeing you in a week. you'll be even staying with me in my cramped room before that day that i'll be watching your back disappear into the departure area.
don't forget to extend my regards to Her Royal Highness.

here is the same scan after I ran it through Adobe Lightroom 2.0 beta
adjusted the white balance and increased the saturation and fill light a bit to make it look like it was on the original photo before it faded
Many thanks to black_cat_merlin who kindly let me do a bit of PP on one of his excellent shots.
I commented that it may need a bit of rotation and colour tweaks, and here's what I was talking about! I was just looking for subtle changes.
From this shot I did the following in GIMP:
* Rotated 0.75degrees clockwise
* Cropped from position 14x20 to a size of 2980x1960 (remove the edges after rotate)
* Did a Colour Enhance (Colours -> Auto -> Colour Enhance)
I played with Tone Mapping in GIMP to bring out a bit more in the clouds, but it really exaggerated some JPEG artefacts in the silhouette of the hills on the horizon and the grass in the foreground. I suppose I could have just applied Tone Mapping to the sky and the water using selections and layering .
Thanks again black_cat_merlin!
Shot was taken in ruins of an old Christian church, remembering times back to XVI century. It was pretty surprising to find this place, about 5minutes from my house, open for first time since long, with surface thru main nave covered with colourful whirligigs.
