Thanks to r ♥ c e y t ♥ y for her wonderful presets that magically transform photos! The original was a ghastly garish green ... Raceytayed it is so much softer and lighter.

I really enjoyed playing with this photo found on Pimp My Pixels. THis is my first pimp my pixels attempt and the favorite pimp of the set. (I have 20 or so varieties of my first pimp my pixels attempt.

It amazes me what you can do with normal/dull photos. This was edited with Photomatix and Photoshop using only a single jpeg file. There are some parts that are rather grainy, but I think that's a small price to pay.

and one of a sunset on the parking lot at work....topped off between layers with Corel's hot-wax coating.

Apparently my cameraphone records image data line by line, top to bottom. As a result all moving objects are tilted rather than blurred.
This is the last photo I edited using the Picnik tool in Flickr. Just after I did this Picnik was gone and replaced by aviary. Aviary can't do this.
Postprocessed with RAW in camera body:
ISO 1250, f/6.4, 1/60, 200mm (FF eqv: 300mm)
RAW: Exposure +0.9, Contrast +21, Whites +13, Blacks -14, Vibrance +20
PS sharpening: Amount +60, Radius +1.5, Detail + 40
I frequently stop off at this vintage junked cars yard and take photos through the chain link and over the razor wire defenses. The old paint and rust do well with HDR techniques.
Shot posted as comment about what we do with our shots when we process them. This is the previous shot after processing with Adobe Lightroom.

What is reality: the previous version or this one?
Just curious.
