One of my first attempts at a heavily textured image and using Totally Rad's Vignette and Blur to finish off.
Fooling around with Photoshop to create a more abstract view of Forever Falls in Graves Canyon in Pope County, Ark.

This group of lads were having fun at Thomson Park in New Brighton. I couldn't resist their zoom zoom as they scooted around the skate park!
This is one of my favorite pictures from 2012. I like the flowing lines of the tree limb, The way the tree in the forefront leans back, the angle coming from the curve in the path. In 2012 I started getting braver about post processing. I don't always go this far, but it was fun to do and I like the results.

This picture, taken by a family friend, won a local photo competition. Years later we saw it in a pre-show video at Disney World - my five seconds of fame.

To nudge myself out of complacency I picked up a 35mm film camera from eBay, all manual, 30 year old, dodgy light foam seals, and scanned with a rancid junk HP printer. Test shots with cheap film. Now loaded with Tri-X

The reflections (abstract forms) on the upper right window caught my attention; so I decided to highlight it by saturating the colors. The rest of the images were converted to monochrome with some grain and sepia. I also did some cropping to improve composition.

Thanks to r ♥ c e y t ♥ y for her wonderful presets that magically transform photos! The original was a ghastly garish green ... Raceytayed it is so much softer and lighter.

For this one, I switched to a different tutorial. I think I prefer the results from this tutorial. However, I'm still not sure that the Orton Effect wouldn't be better than either of them... I guess it depends on the photo.
