This is another girls volleyball tournament from the damaged hard drive. Almost all the images from it are lost! It's a shame because I had to drive all the way to Virgina for it
a couple different post processing looks to this photo. Which do you like better? (I have a guess which will be most popular)
strobist-ism: studio monolight through 3x5(ish) softbox to high camera right. 540ez to camera left about shoulder height.
Not the most innovative shot, but having the girl with the most beautiful eyes of the world available I couldn't resist
Day-blooming blue-mauve waterlilies (Nymphaea nouchali), pair of Blue Stars of Siam, two Pygmy waterlilies in pink and violet, pair of large night-blooming hardy waterlilies in pink.

Found this in our fridge, I think we shouldn`t use it for cooking - but I like the structure and the green on the verge of vanishing
"Exhibition installment - infinity ("Other World")"
a view of an installment based on Escher's LW346 and LW348 pictures (a.k.a. "Other World" (center) and it's derived ("infinity") version (left, right)
2 (x3) bracketed shots pre-processed as HDR.. the resulted images were stitched in MS ICE as a planar perspective projection. It was then cropped and post-processed using "warp tool" (to fix perspective and alignment), 'shadows / highlights", "unsharpen mask" and "black and white" conversion in photoshop CS4 to enhance the final composition details.
I think should have taken a step or two backwards to reveal part of the ceiling and the floor, leaving room for a better composition.
also, it would be far more interesting if those "specular highlights' were not visible on the wall prints.
but in essence the idea was this..

Postprocessed with curves - original file was darker, probably to differences in "ISO 100" settings between D80 and D700.
Believe it or not, this was produced from the same original as Orange Pinwheel, posted just prior to this.

Off late,my photography taste has changed a lot.I like to take wildlife more than anything else.
Some were not happy with my taste change-over.
Hence this.

A picture of most succesful primate family ever surviving on this earth.Considered to be the most dangerous than of all mammals,reptiles,insects,plants,trees & all living beings.
Ms.D is a photographer's delight.
She wouldn't resist being pictured nor would get anxious about the happening.You can well plan your shot.
