This group of lads were having fun at Thomson Park in New Brighton. I couldn't resist their zoom zoom as they scooted around the skate park!
"Exhibition installment - infinity ("Other World")"
a view of an installment based on Escher's LW346 and LW348 pictures (a.k.a. "Other World" (center) and it's derived ("infinity") version (left, right)
2 (x3) bracketed shots pre-processed as HDR.. the resulted images were stitched in MS ICE as a planar perspective projection. It was then cropped and post-processed using "warp tool" (to fix perspective and alignment), 'shadows / highlights", "unsharpen mask" and "black and white" conversion in photoshop CS4 to enhance the final composition details.
I think should have taken a step or two backwards to reveal part of the ceiling and the floor, leaving room for a better composition.
also, it would be far more interesting if those "specular highlights' were not visible on the wall prints.
but in essence the idea was this..

Postprocessed with curves - original file was darker, probably to differences in "ISO 100" settings between D80 and D700.

Off late,my photography taste has changed a lot.I like to take wildlife more than anything else.
Some were not happy with my taste change-over.
Hence this.
About :
A picture of most succesful primate family ever surviving on this earth.Considered to be the most dangerous than of all mammals, reptiles, insects, plants, trees & all living beings.
Ms.D is a photographer's delight.
She wouldn't resist being pictured nor would get anxious about the happening. You can well plan your shot.
Thank you Ms.D.
This is a Heavily Post Processed Image.
Imitating Bhagat & Satya's style :)
Here, our new kitty Maddy plays a game called "eat the delicious
human". Is it not obvious that if she were a few times larger, she'd
eat us in a heartbeat? Cutely, but still.
I usually don't postprocess, but the color on this one was so
terrible, I had to. Darn the yellowy incandescence of our indoor
lighting!

This was just an initial experiment. What I want to do is a panorama and then convert the panorama to a "planet" like this rudimentary one.
This panoramic shot of the Zion National Park is stiched from 3 vertical shots. It was taken on the same week as my previous Bryce Canyon picture "Winter Day".
I did some serious postprocessing to give it some "zing". A GND filter was used but there was heavy overcast and the sky was dull. This is what I did:
o Local contrast enhancement using USM
o Duplicated bg layer in screen blending mode with the fg and sky masked out
o Color balanced with a little towards red
o Curves adjustments selectively for the fg, mountains and the sky
o Vibrance and saturation adjustments
At the end, I think, the processing did help capture some of the magic of the place.

A piper overlooks troop exercises at the Halifax Citadel from atop the fortress walls. The Halifax Citadel is a fortress in Nova Scotia that has never been attacked. If you look at the design of the facility, you can see why. The Fortress is a symbol of Canada's nationhood and is administered by Parks Canada.

Thought a little postprocessing fun to wind the clock back to the 1940s would be appreciated. I just like the Kodachrome effect on historical warbirds.
Figured followers would like this outtake from the April 2016 Heritage Flight Museum Fly Day... you can read the Warbirds News report with my best photos at goo.gl/Zpf7u4 .
