I took this last week! I didn’t move a thing. The little leaf landed there all by itself. As did the littler leaf bottom right. Photograph with some post processing.

ALL ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Happy Slider Sunday! A simple photo of cattails framed with a severe linear blur on the long flat leaves and stems but leaving the brown flowerheads somewhat in focus. The result is much like ICM, but all "the lines" in the image were irresistible.
Developed with Darktable 3.6.0. Post-processing achieved in Paaint and Photoshop.
From the library. It is surprising how many images are in the library forgotten.
It is so hard to stay up on it some days. Some days the image does not have the potential and other days it sees new eyes.
I believe Laura will like this colour.

A photo of three tee-shirts on a clothesline seen at Reiman Gardens in Ames, Iowa. Happy Slider Sunday!
Developed with Darktable 3.6.0. Color-graded and a light leak overlay added in Photoshop to give it a washed-out and retro look.

I've paid lots of attention to the Pink Dogwood in our yard, but the white Dogwood is just as beautiful!
A colorful intersection in the Mission district / San Fransisco. Scanned from print. From my "archives". "Royal Gold" ISO 25 print film. Heavily photoshopped and manipulated @^^

❝Flores❞
……❝Me han dejado atrás los míos
en montes o encrucijadas
la rosa pagana, el lirio,
mi viejo cuerpo con mi vieja alma,
y no he deshecho caminos por recobrarlas,
pero me sigue peregrina,
más ligera que viento y ala,
y sin labio ni voz exhalada,
que camine, que cante, que lleve,
el gajo de una menta por niño voleada.❞

The end of my tulips. Reminds me of little shoes made of petals.

I noticed this little West End forest on my street yesterday when what was going to be a 15 minute walk turned into an hour long photo expedition.

A simple watercolor painting created with Midjourney V5.1
Prompt: “ A watercolor print of a nostalgic old truck under a large tree + summer, in the style Thomas Schwaller + Sergei Kurbatov + Andy Evansen, a detailed natural scene and natural colors, wide view --ar 12:12 --style raw --v 5.1 “
Post-processing in Photoshop included enlarging, sharpening and some artistic effect layers (cutout, dry brush and sponge). I then added a Stylize- Find Edges layer to the composite and reduced the opacity in multiply mode. A watercolor paper texture was then embedded into the image to finish the composition.
“To save Paeon (and show compassion to him), Pluto transformed him into a peony, because he knew it was a flower that people would admire and praise.”
