And by chill slowly growing With a lesson fully dreadful,

And by message all displeasing."

SKEPTICISM - The Arrival

So I missed the newest Skepticism album, but it seems like I stumbled across it right in time. Wholly fitting for my mood, while it's a season that I should find myself in tune with the festive spirits out and about, it's nearly impossible given the circumstances that always happen to crop up this time of year. Simultaneously I'm reminded how lucky I am, individually. Yes, I have a degenrative neurological disorder, but I can still take care of myself for the time being. And I've got Tanya, something no one else can say. And that's pretty awesome.

Here's a different crop and altogether new processing job on the Rambler picture. Haven't had the opportunity or favorable weather to get out to the next house yet, hoping for that sometime this week. Enjoy!

No tilting head kiss. Haha!

Wow, he's so white next to me, considering he's "tan" already..!

ps. I love Jake.

I recently had a bunch of negatives scanned at ScanCafe. I was pretty impressed with the quality, but it's a shame I didn't use higher quality film. Here is a photo I took on my first trip to France in 2004.

This is my beloved mother-in-law whom I am very thankful for giving into this world my lovely and beautiful wife. Without her I would not have married the love of my life.

My "biyenan" is already 76 years young. She have had 11 children of whom the 11th and youngest and her only girl is my lovely wife. I love my biyenan for being an understanding mother-in-law and a caring grandmother to her grandchildren.

This is an homage to Edward R. Murrow's epic See It Now broadcasts of the 1950s which helped bring down Senator Joseph McCarthy. Due to the worst days of my recovery from a tooth extraction, I am reduced to playing around.

this was once an analogue shot, but now it snot

It was a set of 1/4 second exposures taken from a moving express train of faraway clouds and nearby walls, edgarian blurred in pshop, level tweaked and farted about with.

Please use it as a background in your geocities site.

I love my kids!

Some moments could be captured only with an iPhone.

Considering how dark it was in the house that night, iphone did an ok job--quite noisy--but a little post-processing could turn the pics more usable, more stylized.

It's been way too long, but here's a new self-portrait. It's me post-processing pictures of the Garbage Strike show from earlier tonight. I have a love/hate relationship with post-processing.It would be fun if it wasn't so goddam time consuming.

Incidentally, this involved me using my toes to operate the remote shutter release on the camera. And, yeah, my desk is a huge mess. But if you know me at all, that shouldn't be a surprise.

Processed with Flypaper Textures

These floor tiles are very sparkly and eye catching despite their greyness. This image was shot in Hipstamatic for fun (see next image on here), then post-processed in Hipstamatic/Enlight to bring it back to something resembling its actual colouring

Postprocessing: image brightened (I accidentally underexposed it) but otherwise as shot. Shot at Melbourne Camera Club Portrait Group.

Photographed by A.Zai

I shoot this at MOMA.

Nikon F3HP + Ektar 100. Post-processed to black and white.

There's something menacing about this gull ... I think maybe he was an extra in a Hitchcock movie
