"Success!...wrong"
So, it rained all day long. I was indoors most of the day and I couldn't really find an interesting thing to photograph myself doing.
Tomorrow will be better.
This was the scene in the Apple Store in the Chelsea district of Manhattan today. The windows were covered with all these post-it notes bidding farewell to Steve Jobs. It's amazing how many peoples lives he touched with his innovative ideas and inventions. Even though I am not really an Apple fanatic, I think the world is a much better place because of him.
A Red, Green and White Holiday themed mug off coffee for you on this fine Tuesday in December. I hope you like it.
Apparently, the third Monday of January is the most depressing day of the year. Grumpy Cat approves!
A gamer's mug of coffee to keep you going while you distract yourself with the wonderful world of video games. I hope you like it.
Throwing my pocket contents on the bed when getting changed thought I'd go through what's in mine (then you can do the same, or I'll fail at getting a meme up and running - even though it's been done before)
So, I've got:
- Wallet
- 256MB Sony USB (3.5 years old now)
- Keys for the flat
- VW Golf key
- Loose shrapnel
- Pencil
- Lip Balm
- Post it note
So, what's in yours?
Spirng semester hasn't started yet so this is just the stuff I have been taking back and forth to work.
I excluded some sketches I'm working on.
S2 pupils really take to this task. They are introduced to the notion that designers must attend to the requirements of their target users. They collect images from magazines that consider areas such as: leisure, sport, holidays, entertainment, interior design, hobbies/recreation, architecture, gadgets and so on.
In no time they produce amazing imge boards that will then inform the initial ideas that follow.
Next the must relate, in written terms, how their chosen images convey the lifestyle of the target user they are trying to capture. Post-it notes come in handy at this point any a variety of colours helps with the coding system we promote.
Checking out some tunes at the record store!

The internet is going crazy with "why we hate Anne Hathaway" stories. Since I don't know anyone who hates her it's all a mystery to me, but perhaps it's best explained by Jezebel commenter Esmeralda:
"I don't like Anne Hathaway because she keeps sneaking into my house at night and filling my shoes with mashed potatoes. She also insists on texting me photos of all of her bowel movements. DAMN YOU, HATHAWAY."
Post-it note, highlighter, sharpie, girl must really hate carbs to waste delicious mashed potatoes this way...DAMN YOU, HATHAWAY, indeed!
33/52 for the group T189 alphabet challenge
The set theme was: Q is for Quivering
I had thought of finding some leaves or grass stems quivering in the wind, but the weather has turned very wet and the sky is grey and the light is rubbish. So I was wondering what I might have in the house that could be said to quiver and then I had a brainwave. :)

What has Changing Lives Changed?

Post-it Question
Just decided to try and draw an interesting mug that had an area of the mug curve inward so your hand could fit between the handle and the mug. Then I made up a COFFEE • COFFEE emblem to put on the side of it. On top of all that I also wanted to do something different for the background because I felt like I was doing the typical Green and Blue too much. I hope you like it.

I had to take a snap of this... apparently she or he has a problem with leaving their lights on.
Taken in Capitol Hill.
Anyone know who's car this is?
It's been busy in life and work for me but I took a moment to draw some more coffee today. I hope you like this forged/milled metal mug of coffee.
The vaulted entrance to Juliets balcony served as an temporary rain shelter. As usual, graffiti everywhere. Seems like Post-It notes are replacing felt-tip markers.
"Matriphagy (mother-eating) seems to be the ultimate form of parental care. It gives her offspring a better chance of making it to adulthood; therefore, helping her genes persist in the next generation. When the babies have the mother to eat, they don't turn to cannibalism and eat each other."
