It's a long while since I photographed my Post It Notes - but I do still use them! Colourful and sticky little reminders to myself. Tear one off, scribble on it and stick it on the fridge, the wall, the pin-board, the computer or TV surround ...... once they have served their purpose....... I started NOT just crumpling them up and throwing them away - I kept some, rolled them up like drinking straws, and started shooting them with lights placed all around. I'd forgotten how much fun bits of old paper could be!!

... the colour that lets you know the sun will rise again tomorrow ;o)
I couldn't think of a title for this ... I was just playing with orange paper and glass. But the sudden sunshine reminded me of the orange clouds that sometimes come with the sunrise.
For the Group Life is a Rainbow. The colour is Orange. (no 3 of the Orange sequence)

These are not buttons ... for once! They're actually drawing pins covered with a Liberty fabric, hence the stationery items behind them. :)

So, that's what's next: Post-it notes. I have a few good ideas and hope to get through them before I head off to college next Wednesday. :)
Edit: Explore #7! Thanks guys!

I am forever using these larger Post-It notes when I a making work notes and reminders. How very old-school!
So said Paul Klee who was born on this day in 1879. I know this because Google told me today.
His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. Klee was a natural draftsman who experimented with and eventually deeply explored color theory.
My style is more influenced by post it notes.
This is my "Not Quite" take on Klee's incredible work.
September 2004, redecorating, and feeling like a rebel, I stole post it notes from work, after they had announced IT outsourcing, to use them here for masking tape. I wont go to heaven.
I felt like I should lighten the mood. It's been looking pretty gloomy round here lately.

I love this quote, and seems more and more applicable.
