At the Smart Growth Summit, we made a quick piece of art about what we love about Long Island. Each person wrote their idea on a post-it note and we put those together into a picture of Long Island on the wall.
Lauryn and I spelled out a co-workers name in post it notes because he wouldn't pick up his box for a while. it was cluttering our table and we were feeling sarcastic.

My D90 arrived home last night, FINALLY!
I missed it very much.
Oh, and thanks to my wonderful boyfriend Justin for helping me set this up :)
I honestly don't know what I'd do without post-it notes. Well, apart from using other bits of paper to jot random crap on.
I work at a Univeristy College and saw this car parked there. Clearly our students take their exam revision VERY seriously. The notes were not only all over the back but totally all over the car. Different colours used too :-)

So I know the election was months ago, but I saw my sticker today and decided to take a picture.
I'm away at school so I voted by absentee ballot. I was disappointed that I didn't get one of those "I Voted!" stickers because it was the first election I could vote in.
So I made my own with sharpies and a post-it note.
I love college. :)

I have more markers at home, but this is what I'm working from at the office for my daily coffee doodles.
wow. Like the post-it note says, 100 days left to go! Right at the start of the year I never envisioned the 365 days project would be this much fun! There have been days when I just felt like I could not be bothered and there were some days I couldn't wait to get started on shooting a picture for that particular day. Some days I had a flash of inspiration as to what picture I should take. Other days it was a real struggle to think of something. In a way I suppose it's a little like writers block. (Is there such a thing as photographers block?) I suppose there is. It's just when the creativeness seems to stop completely. Ok I will stop now, I have written way to much here already, hehe :-)

My friend's cube was always impeccable, while I'm the type that holds onto things that might be useful someday. In 2000 they stopped giving us new phone books, so I kept the most recent one. In recent years, I've become completely web-dependent for phone #s, but then I held onto it just because of the note. I finally preserved it with a photo and sent the book to the recycle bin.
