Drawing Book No. 4
Ian made those post it notes for me and hid them around the room like a scavenger hunt for me to find. :) *adorables*
Boris and Bela's daughter for Drawlloween No. 29! On a post-it note! It's always 1934 somewhere! #drawlloween2016
By now you've seen one or more variations on this image; a lovely little rendering of Grumpy Cat holding a sign, content subject to change. What you probably don't know is the name of the artist who made the original image, because other people are cropping his signature out of the image and adding their own. Since it took me less than 7 minutes to find the original source for Grumpy Cat Sign via google reverse image search, I don't really think there's much of an excuse for "I don't know where this came from".

Haven't been well the last couple of days, so this is just a quick shot that kind of sums up how I feel.
Anyway, I know you'd love to:
Strobist:
Bowens Gemini Pro 500 with brilliantly big softbox above camera pointing down at 45 degrees, set on 3.4. Two other Bowens with disappointingly smaller softboxes camera left and right at 30 degrees pointing at the back of the idiot pictured, set on 4. Triggered by PC cord cable.

SHMILY. This is a note that Amanda and I leave around the house for each other to find. The crazier the place, the better.
It stands for See How Much I Love You.
The craziest places have probably been the inside of a take out box, stuffed in shoes, and rolled up in the toilet paper roll (personal favorite). Bonus points for creativity.

Thousands of brightly-colored post-it notes were posted on the doors of Wisconsin's State Capitol Building as the building remains closed to the public. Each note has a message written on it protesting the lock out and Governor Scott Walker's Budget Repair Bill. The lockout is yet another twist in the ongoing battle between union workers and Wisconsin Republican leadership.
Community art collage created by Adrian Wallett made from 183 Post-It Notes from around the World from many artists.
This project took me around 10 months to begin and finally complete. I used the power of the internet to gain Post-it Note artwork from across the globe from a wide variety of very talented artists.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that took part and helped create such an amazing collage.

...an icy grave... on a post-it note!
(Inked on a discarded rough post-it note I found behind a baseboard.)
Please reach towards your screen and peel this sticky note off of there.....
This is what day 121 was for me. Trying to make this photo and sticky note pop off the image and screen. making that happening by giving the photo some depth with some side lighting and distance is what it needed so off i went into "gota get that idea right mode". From working with reflections before and a few of my previous photos i knew that if i wanted to separate the foreground(which was the post it note and window with the rain) to the background (which was me taking the photo) and that i had to distance myself in proportion for that depth of those and use an off camera light source to light me(in the background) with that side light so i had that depth for highlight and shadow on me for the most part and not just shooting in flat light. Now it was just about getting the fill on the window ,so with some slight angle changes and just enough fill from my on camera master flash this was the result. I was stoked how it cam out with the post it note just looking like its popping off the image and you could just reach out and peel it off. This was Day 121

Specifically inspired by and made for Competition Corner; Post It.
I have done a couple of joiners recently and when the competition was announced this immediately sprang to mind!
Obviously there's a little bit going on in PP... over 40 layers in pairs and triplets, different blending modes and FX. Sounds Complicated you say? not at all- monotonous yes but not hard once you know where to find everything you need :-)
Also slipped into Slider Sundays

pass it on <3
inspired by this, which is an amazing short film that will make you smile, therefore you should watch it.

I live for the weekends these days and am a HUGE fan of Saturday adventures, whether it's checking out locally made clothes, jewellery, bags, accessories, cards, etc at the Makers' Market, or hunting out a new flavour of Fair Trade coffee at the Global Village Market.

This is a substitute for my original shot that I was not particularly happy with. This I think is much more creative.
Pizza or Salmon? what shall I eat?
"30 day drawing challenge"; everyday at 4pm a few co-workers of mine get together and doodle it up, as they kill it with some computer help, i keep it simple with post-its and pencils!
