Millie Hilton positions flowers on one of four pedastels.

This is a goldfinch-only feeder because only goldfinches can hang upside down like this to eat. Regular house finches can't do it, though it's rather funny to see them try.

But the other birds have access to lots of other feeders that the goldfinches don't fight for, so I like having a goldfinch-only one.

Our friend had a procedure that involved putting a bubble of gas into his eye. He needs to keep his head parallel to the ground for 23 hours a day for the next week so that the bubble puts pressure on the his eye in the right way and fixes the problem he has been having. Fortunately, there is equipment available to help make it possible to keep in such an unnatural position.
