Very young schoolchildren are always dressed this way in Japan. This was in a station between Koya San and Shikoku.

Friendly boy who agreed that I could take his portraiture

Laura sat by the traffic light on Daley Plaza. She'd been out here since about 9:30am. She's been homeless for about three months. Her mom helps her with the baby, while she raises funds in-between jobs. She hopes to find a waitressing job, so in the meantime, she's here. When asked what she would want people to know about her, she just shrugged her shoulders and said, "I don't know". She didn't want to be out here, but she saw few other options.

This looked way cooler in my head. What an irony. Portraiture should have been the easiest theme ever.

I ceased caring after the fifth version I edited. Also, Flickr does weird things to the editing on this.
