I was asked by a friend who makes long board decks to design a deck for him- open ended project.. So I felt that this would be a perfect chance for me to put my face on his board and surprise him with a "Jeffrey Thies Official Pro-deck" as a gag. This is probably one of the best self portraits I've ever done.
I had been wanting a vintage wedding dress to do a fun photoshoot for a couple of years. On the day I bought it, I was describing the look of the girl I wanted to shoot with this dress. And up she walk. Literally. She was our server at a restaurant. She was also getting ready to move to NYC to go to acting school. I love it when stars align like that. Paige was amazing to work with. Working with a trained model is a wonderful experience.
