Taken during the Saturday night of New York Comic Con 2016 at Go!Go!Curry. We both had Katsu Curry for dinner.

This meal I prepared specially for my wife because she loves my Japanese cooking.
Today I made for her deep fried shrimps, simmered pumpkin, seaweed salad with shrimps, pork cutlet with cabbage and ginger and her favorite the deep fried tofu with ginger, radish and a bonito flakes topping.
Why photograph rice!? Just to show that its of rather good grain-for-grain 粒粒分明 texture. We are pretty sure that this is the short-grained rice grown locally in Taiwan. But it's a nice substitution nonethless.
